Overview:

Cedur is a member of the Super Mario Bros X community since June 2016.

Relation to SMBX:

It was some time in early 2015 when Cedur randomly stumbled across the game on Youtube, following the LP of WiiLikeToPlay. When he downloaded the game, he had trouble with the controls and uninstalled and reinstalled it several times after figuring them out. When he lurked on the forums for the first time, DarkMatt and TNTtimelord were still moderators. Anyway, during these days, Cedur was mainly involved with Super Mario 63 and its editor, until his SM63 level designing career ended in 2016 and he registered and migrated to SMBX.org due to reasons that shall not be discussed any further.

At that time, he already played several famous episodes, and many more accrued. Eventually he created a score statistics document where he accumulates scores and progress of every episode played (SMBX doesn't save scores). He downloaded SMBX2 Beta 3 immediately after its release, and also got used to the basic functionalities of PGE, however until this day he hasn't started a level designing career of his own. He enjoys playing so much and also has other interests that so far have kept him away from focusing on one big project.

On December 11th 2017, Cedur's laptop broke due to a hard disk malfunction. He got a new computer in January, but his SMBX2 data has been lost, and he hasn't come back to playing SMBX yet. He will be back at the latest once Beta 4 comes out.

Activity and achievements:

Cedur was the main betatester for [i]Reign of the Gatekeeper[/i] by Shadow_Flame, which got a lot of attention and was officially featured. He also has betatested and reviewed [i]Your Journey Awaits[/i] by Daring Tombstone until the laptop crash and he supported [i]Grant Atlus[/i] by stageleft. Generally, he adds his two cents on both forums and chat whenever possible and he assists both new and old members.

Immediately after joining, Cedur signed up for Mafia 30 because players were needed, but he quickly gained interest to keep playing and he became a consistent, experient (yet controversial) member of the scene until its end. He's still active on EcstasyData's mafia server and MosaicMafia; at the latter he became a mod in December 2017.

Other interests:

Cedur is not involved with common gaming entities and social media, but there is one game which he keeps adoring since his childhood days: Sonic Heroes. He especially loves its competitive aspects and strives for records. In real life he passionly practices [i]Petanque[/i], a precision sport originating in France, commonly referred to as "Boule" in Germany; he's a licensed member of a Petanque club.

Cedur follows football, handball, darts, skijumping on both television and Youtube. He's also musically interested and enjoys a wide palette of both german and english artists.
