  1. The chase wasn't pretty long. The blow that the boy had delivered decreased Leon's agility. But it wasn't long before the boy gave up, and stopped. Leon assumed that he knew he wasn't going to give up. Leon was going to chase him to the end of Valmasia.
  2.
  3. Then it hit Leon that the boy had probably wanted a fight, which Leon didn't mind doing, but if that boy had decided that he was going to kill Leon, that was a whole different story. Leon wouldn't hold back, and he had ideas on what he would do to the kid when he was finished with him. If Leon won the battle.
  4.
  5. Damn... I wasn't expecting a fight, and he looks pretty strong, considering that he almost drained the life out of me. But i'm not going to give up, I swore to get revenge and if I die here, then what's the point?
  6. (Leon Lukino)
  7. The chase came to a slowing halt, and in time, his back was all that could be seen in the midst of the cavern's darkness.
  8. As though to dramatize the moment, he turned to show his face to Leon, maroon hues shimmmering in his lavender pupils.
  9. The Malpercian curse was taking over. As of now, there was no longer the worry of capture via Saffron forces, not here, atleast.
  10.
  11. The bandages on his right arm, stressed by the growth triggered by the life siphoning grip prior, began to tear, unraveling to the ground at his side.
  12. The 'wounded' arm, turned out to not be as wounded as what one would assume, just as Leon suspected.
  13.
  14. Where one would expect a grotesque infection, one found only inhuman mutation. It was the start of something far more sinister.
  15. "...You were a fool to attempt chasing me outside of the protection, Tilandre offers."
  16.
  17. His voice was solemn, emotionless. "You were better off idling back in city limits... But this is good, I suppose I don't have to hold back, now that we're outside of public eye. Thus, if you're ready to attack, prepare yourself for the storm that awaits."
  18. (Vriskol Malpercius)
  19. Leon knew at this moment that a battle had been initiated, and he hadn't second thought this. He went straight in a grabbed the hilt of his sword, sketching an oval in the air to form a bubble of water, throwing it him.
  20.
  21. The thing about that bubble of water, it was a distraction to throw Vriskol off guard, letting him take in my magic. Making him assume that the only magic I have is water. Leon then runs behind a rock, cuts through it, and starts hacking away at it, slicing it up into a million pieces.
  22.
  23. In an attempt to distract his opponent two times, Leon finally decides to take the offensive, and goes in head on. He throws his sword up into the air and starts rushing towards the dumb-founded boy. Or so Leon hoped. Leon finally wound up behind the boy.
  24.
  25. "Let's begin this shall we?" Leon said slicing at the boy, in hopes to see if it connected.
  26. (Leon Lukino)
  27. Water, crafted seemingly from the air itself found itself hurdled at Vriskol, whom retailiated with a swat with his heavily bandaged arm. The splash of water tore at the cloth, leaving it sore to some extent. However, the entrance was far from over!
  28. Yet another conjuration found itself way for the Malpercian, whom reacted with a dive out of the way. The rock hit a standing stalagmite, forcing dust to obstruct his vision, leaving him lost in the generated smoke.
  29.
  30. "...Enough of your tricks." He muttered to himself, whipping at his eyes with his left arm, squinting his eyes as though to focus his vision unto movement through the darkness and fog alike.
  31. To his dismay, Leon was not done with his tricks, prying his attention with the footsteps that would inevitiably turn him around.
  32.
  33. The man managed to get behind him, leaving him shocked for the moment... However, as he turned and the blade came for his flesh, only one question arose...
  34. Whom truely had the vantage point in this scenario... Whom would prove to be, the victor!
  35. (Vriskol Malpercius)
  36. The blade moved ever so delicately through the air. So quick! To decisive!... Yet, just a second too late. The Malpercian sidestepped, managing to evade a slash to the back. Water surrounded the magi's body, granting healing properties from the looks of it. It was starting up so fast, but just as fast as it could begin, Vriskol put it to an immediate end; Thus, stomping out the fire before it could truely burn bright.
  37.
  38. A stomp for the ground left it riddled with crevices, dancing and trickling left and right. As though crashed glass, the earth shattered- At the openings, the illumination of Occult energies fired for the heavens above. Lifeforce found itself flowing for the ground, slowing Leon down enough to allow Vriskol to pop up.
  39.
  40. Point Blank, his right arm found lurched for the magi's head. Fingers arched to clutch the flesh, but not before unleashing a massive beam of mana, radiating the purest of occultistic power. It tore apart at the surroundings, carving out the soil behind the unfortunate man...
  41.
  42. Smoke began to clear, and the battlezone's volume died down...
  43. As the dust fell for their feet, Leon's body hung by it's head, trapped within the clutches of the Malpercian's cursed arm. Yet another victim, for Sacrifice!
  44.
  45. Vitality and mana were pulled through the bandaged arm, appearing as nothing more than a sanguine glow where flesh fell into direct contact. Randomized memories of Leon were set on a one-way course to oblivion, leaving one with induced amnesia on randomized past events. The Malpercian quivered, finally, relinquishing the magi to fall to his knees.
  46.
  47. He, himself, stumbled backwards, satisfied yet shaken to some extent.
  48. A tired, smile locked upon his face. A light blush took up his visage, accompanied by only a weak chuckle.
  49.
  50. "...Victory... Is mine..."
  51. (Vriskol Malpercius)
