  1. from /hhg/ Hazbin Hotel general #409 and #418

  4. Hey, do any of you think animals can also go to hell?
  5. -
  6. Though to be more specific (and to wrap up a stupid question), do you think Bruce (Jaws) would be in hell if the movies actually happened on Hazbin Hotel's earth?
  7. -
  8. yes
  9. -
  10. maybe?... like are you talking about using animals in ritual's and sending them to hell?.
  11. -
  12. Either or. They could just be normal animals used in rituals, or animals of unnaturally high intelligence, that use it in what could be seen as a cruel/evil fashion (i.e. Bruce from Jaws and his hunger for humans).
  13.
  14. Though this does lead to the interesting question of what changes might be wrought upon the the two types of animals and how they differ dependent on how exactly they arrived in hell.
  15. If any of course.
  16. -
  17. *their hunger
  18. -
  19. that's a good question.
  20.
  21. well, I think they have the same "animals" look but way more "evil" I guess.
  22. -
  23. Hmm, yeah, I'd agree on that.
  24. I could see the ritual sent ones looking like that turtle, or big nuggets. Bit creepy, clearly unnatural, but also still easily identifiable for what species they are
  25. Also probably not all that powerful magic/ability wise, if they have any.
  26. But the question is, how would the animals who actually got sent to hell differ compared to those sent via rituals?
  27.
  28. Like, would they be even more mutated? Be larger and/or more deadly than before? Have actual magical/daemonic abilities?
  29. Maybe even be smarter, to even human level sapience?
  30. -
  31. >Like, would they be even more mutated? Be larger and/or more deadly than before? Have actual magical/daemonic abilities?
  32. >Maybe even be smarter, to even human level sapience?
  33.
  34. I think so, I remember in viv old art of alastor that he had a undead evil looking deer with him,
  35.
  36. that can easy be a animals that follow him or a animals that he summoned that can use the same power(?) like him
  37.
  38. as well there the other animals we see in the plot that look fuck up
  39. -
  40. True, true.
  41. Still, just thinking of a swarm of hyper intelligent, highly mutated, ravenous sharks terrorizing hell's populace (and probably the Exterminators too) just sounds as fucking hilarious as it would be terrifying, and I can't help but want to figure out how the idea could work out, and what else it could extend too.
  42. -
  43. well, imagine mosquito but they are in hell and 10 time worst
  44. -
  45. Yessss
  46. -
  47. but that give me a question, if hell bugs are in a swarm.
  48.
  49. do they get more intelligent or they will fight over of who will be the leader?
  50. -
  51. Hmmm... Good question. I suppose it might be dependent on what kind of bug they are and/or if they're exposed to the right kind of energies
  52. -
  53. true.
  54.
  55. but lets say the hell bugs are locust
  56.
  57. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locust
  58.
  59. they will work together and become very dangerous for the people hell
  60.
  61. I feel like they need a flamethrower to take them out
  62. -
  63. Ey, pretty fun coincidence that! Locust's being one of the probable insect species that'd get more intelligent the larger the swarm was precisely what I was thinking.
  64. -
  65. oh cool, I didn't know that.
  66.
  67. the reason I being up Locust because I feel like they are common species in hell and they are part of the apocalypse that people talk about of how we are all going to die
  68. -
  69. Yeah, that was pretty much what made me think of them too. They got enough religious connotations that I feel if there were any in hell, they'd probably a fair bit more dangerous than their earth counterparts
  70. -
  71. >they'd probably a fair bit more dangerous than their earth counterparts
  72.
  73. yup and way more vicious
  74. -
  75. Combine that with a fluctuating level of intelligence dependent on swarm size makes them a threat Lucifer himself would probably have to keep an eye on to prevent
  76. -
  77. most likely Lucifer will get some demon's to flamethrower then down, summer and spring in hell got to be a nightmare to deal with the locust.
  78. -
  79. Yeah, that sounds about right. Big risk if any are missed though, 'cause if they keep their memories, despite falling back to around bug level intelligence, once they gain enough of the swarm back they'd remember what happened before, and try to plan how to prevent/avoid it happening again.
  80. -
  81. good thing the exterminator exist, they can wipe them out with holy AOE stuff and cut then down.
  82.
  83. seriously dealing with the exterminator & the locust at the same time, it got be a story to tell to other demons if you survive that is.
  84. -
  85. Throw in a mutant shark swarm and you'd be able to gloat about surviving 3 of what can be considered hell's own 4 horseman.
  86. -
  87. >"hey guys, do you want to hear the story of who I survive hell's own 4 horseman?"
  88. >"shut up bill, you been talking about that for week's."
  89.
  90. that be interesting but also there always something way worst, like dealing with raining frogs or something.
  91. -----------------
  92. I think what surprising to me that there a forest park in hell, how the tree are still alive?
  93. -
  94. same goes for the birds, like how did they show up in hell?
  95. -
  96. Well, Hell has its own native species and wildlife. "Birds with teeth" sounds like something you'd see in Hell. I'm more interested in the fact that Alastor is eating devilled eggs. Get it? DEVILLED eggs! Because it's in Hell!
  97. -
  98. >Get it? DEVILLED eggs! Because it's in Hell!
  99.
  100. how the fuck did I not get that?...
  101. -
  102. Wait really? That was the first thing I thought of when I read that page.
  103. -
  104. yes, I just thought he was exploring hell and going places to see what he miss
