A retractable light came out, and then went back in. Washer fluid sprayed out onto the windshield, and the wipers jerked back and forth. Oh, thank goodness! The airbag deployed! That might help him to float, at least a little, but that water kept pouring in, heartlessly. He was already submerged up to his waist. A fish accidentally slipped in, and then, with a terrified splash, it jumped out and fled.
