>You've lived way too much in the pony world and adjusted to their customs so much, there's no way you could go back to the way things work there

>Wake up in the morning
>Feel like P. Diddy
>At this point, you've opened yourself up to inter-species relations and Rainbow Dash and yourself are an item now
>You attribute this to yourself finally accepting the thought of NEVER leaving this place
>"*Yawn*... morning, Anon..."
>You don't know if it's the fact that you've trained yourself to get off to ponies or just your natural reaction but DAMN do her eyes look cute right now
"Morning, Dashie."
>She elbows you in the groin

>"What do you wanna do today?"
"I dunno. We've seen too many movies this week. Pinkie's out in Manehattan for the weekend."
>"There's just no other ponies in town who are fun and aren't rapists."
>You hesitate before saying it.
"What about Twi?"
>Dash looks at you funny
>"Twilight? really? I mean, she's a friend, but she's really kind of..."
"An egg-head?"
>"Yeah."
"Yeah, but she's tight with the Princess. She's always, like, saving the world or something like that."
>"Okay, I see where this is going. You wanna save the world, Anon?"
>She turns around and leans up a little
>"Twilight it is."
"Alright, there we go."
>You try to get out of bed, but she pulls you back
>"Wait."
"What?"
>You're annoyed
>"Wakey-wakey."
>She comes in for a kiss

>Twilight's house

>You're astounded by the sheer amount of books she has
>"I'm glad you guys decided to come over. Sometimes I worry about you two and your party lifestyles..."
>You cut off dash before she says something
"Yeah, we probably need to ease up."
>"...Yeah." She grunts
"So, Twi, are you planning on doing anything interesting today?"
>"Maybe visiting the Princess?"
>"Uhh.. no. I really was just going to stay in and catch up on some reading."
>Dash audibly moans and looks at you like a bored kid
"Oh, are you sure you don't wanna go out today? It's beautiful outside."
>Twi thinks about it for a moment.
>"I'll send a letter and just make sure it's alright. It's been a while since I've seen the Princess anyway, it'll be nice to enjoy her company."
>Dash's spirits lift immediately
>"Yeah!"
>Twilight shushes her, because her house is a library after all
>She trots into the other room and you can hear her and Spike mumbling something beyond the door

>"This is gonna be SO awesome!"
"I don't get why you're this psyched about this. I mean, it's cool, but you've been to Canterlot before and met the Princess before, plenty of times!"
>"A lot of things have changed. I haven't been to Canterlot since before you even came to town."
"Guess me being here has significantly cut down your adventuring, eh?"
>She grins
>"Yeah, yeah, you and your stupid antics have been keeping me pre-occupied, so what?"
Twilight comes back in
>"We can catch the 11 o'clock train. Apparently, Princess Celestia wasn't even aware of your presence in Equestria before now, Anon. She's really excited to meet you."
"Wow, really? That's unexpected."
>"Ya don't say. Usually the Princess is so on top of things.
>You all dismiss it and head out, you, Dash, Twi, and Spike, to see the Princess
>Get on the train
>The train ride to Canterlot is a lot shorter than the train ride to Manehattan, only a couple hours

>Eventually, around 1pm, you reach the Canterlot Train Station
>Damn, the people here are snobby
>Still, this city is really beautiful
>Kinda reminds you of the city back home
>"Damn." says dash, "This place always wows me. It's changed a lot."
"I'm stunned."
>"It IS wonderful, isn't it?"
>"Heh, it's kinda cool," says Spike
>You walk through the city in random places for the better half of a day
>You buy some food from a vendor
>At one point, your human ass gets scoffed at by some bypassing snobs
>Dash flies up, grabs a paint-bucket right off a ladder, then dumps it on them
>Out of there before anyone sees her
>You meet back up later and brohoof TO THE MAX
>Finally, you're at the castle
>It's been a fun day
>Enter
>The guards are hesitant to let you in, especially with you being the unusual figure that you are
>Twilight shows her face and they let you in post haste

>The Princess is sitting at her throne, finishing up a letter to someone
>She looks up and greets everyone except you
>When she sees you, her eyes widen a bit

>"Hello, Twilight! Hello, Spike! Rainbow Dash! And... your name is?"
"Anonymous."
>"Oh. Hmm. Quite... unique. Uhh, feel free to make yourselves at home. the next room is the foyer, so go ahead and lounge."
>You start to walk towards the foyer
>RD looks up at you
>"You always have these awesome ideas, Anon."
"I'm just unique."
>You look up with a sarcastically heroic expression
>Dash laughs and nuzzles her head into your stomach a little
>Princess Celestia sees this, apparently
>"Anonymous, could you stay for a moment? I have a matter to discuss with you."
>You turn, confused, and so does Dash
"Don't wait up for me."
>You motion for Rainbow to go on and she does, as you walk back to the Throne
"Your highness?"
>You're trying to be as polite as possible
>"Human. Why exactly are you here?"
"Uhh... I'm not sure."
>"Anonymous, there is no need to lie. You can tell me the truth. How and why are you in this world?"
>You don't know what she's getting at, but you're a little offended
"Princess, I honestly don't know! I come from a place called ear-
>"I know where you come from, what brought you here is what I'm asking."
>She seems angry
"I-... I don't know, honest. I was just walking around in an alleyway one day and the I was in Ponyville. It's the truth."
>She starts looking at you with this almost-disappointed look

>"I don't know how you're here, but it can't be for a good reason. And, honestly..."
>She pauses for a moment and observes you
>"...I don't think I can have you here."
>It takes a while for you to get it
"Wait. What do you mean?"
>"Anonymous, you come from a place that is filled with terrible things. Greed. Murder. A lot of things I simply can't have in this kingdom. I care about all of my subjects, and I can't let them become victim to all of the terror that comes with Human culture."
>You pause
"What are you getting at?"
>"I can see how fond you are of Rainbow dash, in there."
"Yeah?"
>She sighs
>"Anonymous, I need to send you home."
"What? You can do that?!"
>"Yes. And I need to. It'd be best if I just get it over with, so, hold on."
"Wait."
>She doesn't wait
>Your body is surrounded by a white aura
>Every limb starts to vibrate, and you hear this pretty buzzing noise
>Turn to the right, you see Dash look through the doorway
>"Anon, you ok- what's happening?"

"Dash!"
>Dash is immediately involved in what's happening
>"Hey! What are you doing to him!?"
>The Princess doesn't stop
>"Anon!"
"Dash! I won't forget you! I lo-"

>Get up and walk over to the opening
>Grab the walls
>Looking out at the world

>Back home
>You can see everyone you used to know
>You can see your parents again
>You can finish school

>You start back to your old apartment
>New York hasn't changed at all
>You haven't either, you're 21 again
>You're kinda looking around funny because you're so shocked to be back home
>No one asks you why you look so fishy
>get to your apartment
>It's all the same
>No one there
>Messy as fuck
>Go into your room
>Lay down on your bed
>Holy shit
>That just happened
>Cry silently to yourself until you fall asleep

>Wake up
>Day 2 in America
>Feel nothing like P Diddy
>Your tears have encrusted into your eyelids
>You miss Rainbow being there for you every morning
>That can never happen again
>Get up
>Make some coffee
>Sit around, watch the news to get caught up with Human events again
>Nothing interesting
>Get a call from your "only" friend
"Hey?"
>"Hey, man, what's up?"
"...hey..."
>"Jesus, did I call too early? It's noon, man. I mean, it's a Saturday, but no one sleeps that late."
"I've been up for a little bit."
>"Hmm. Have some coffee or something. Can I come over?"

>Friend comes over
>You're thankful that it's Saturday, because you couldn't have gone to any classes today with your new depression.

"Huh?"
>"Anything up?"
"I'm fine. Yeah. No, no problem."

>Your friend shuts the blinds while you're frozen on your couch
>He pulls out his laptop and plugs it into your TV

>You start watching
>All your best friends are scampering around

>Your friend thinks about it and decides to pack up his shit and leave you alone, because you're obviously in the middle of something and you need some privacy

>You can't stay at your apartment
>You go out and walk around
>Head to a random bar down the street
>You've never been to it, drinking and having fun was something Rainbro opened you up to
>Order a glass of Applejack Daniels
>Bartender asks what the hell an Applejack Daniels is
>You pander
"It's like... Apple Cider... and Jack..."
>"We don't have Cider."
"Just fuckin' get me a scotch."

>He gets you the scotch. You decide to stay around and drink a little until the night life picks up a little.
>A few hours pass
>Some people are dancing out there to the music
>It's the shittiest music
>You wish so bad to just crank up some of Vinyl's jams, but you're denied
>You can't exactly go out and dance to MC Hammer anymore, either
>You don't have anypo

>Someone sits down on the stool next to you when the bar gets a little crowded
>You're fairly hammered
>Try to avoid eye contact
>She starts talking to you

>You don't answer, prepared to blame it on the music
>No chance she lets it go
>"Dude. You feelin' alright? If the booze is drugged here, you gotta let me know now.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Music's loud."

"Scotch."
>"I've never known you to drink scotch."

>You look up
>Oh my god
>It's a girl with a blue T-shirt and skinny jeans, a black minijacket, and rainbow-hair
>Holy fuck

>"It took a who-
>You interrupt her with the absolute biggest bear-hug in the history of the world
>She hugs you back
>Holy shit
>You pull away
"I missed you so goddamn much."
>You kiss her
>People at the bar are looking at you, but you seem to have misplaced your givin'-fucks
>Pull away
>"I missed you too... for a year..."
"A... a year?"
>"Yeah. Time passes much faster here in... this place. It's like Manehattan full of humans!"
"Well, here, we call it MANhattan."
>"Heh! Yeah, just take the name of the city and add "MAN" to it... real creative."
>You ignore the serious irony here and continue staring at her

>She's like the perfect humanized representation of RD
"What happened?"
>"After that bitch Celestia got rid of you, we all got kicked out of the castle... I can see what she wanted to do, but I tried so hard to convince her you weren't corrupt or greedy... she wouldn't listen to me, or any of our friends. So I made a deal with the Princess. One more year, and I could come here to see you again, so I waited. Now I'm here."
>You hold back tears and all of your WAT
"H-... how did you know where I was?"
>"This was the first bar I saw coming out of the alley. You alcoholic ass."
>You punch her in the arm lightly
>So happy
"How... okay... when are we going back to Equestria?"
>The smile on her face grows a little serious.
>She prepares her words a second
>"We're... not going back to Equestria.
