- Mana: 100 per target.
- Just as in the LIGHTARC ability, the ARCLIGHT creates a highly charged bolt of controlled miniature lightning from top to tip
- of your lorestave. The lightning will lash out and strike out against a target moments later, under the correct conditions,
- with potent ferocity. Where the ARCLIGHT differs from the LIGHTARC is its ability to strike out at adjacent locations AND the
- capacity to utilise a double-expulsion, i. E. to strike two separate targets at the same time. NOTE: arclights flashing into
- adjacent locations require a harder equilibrium regain than targets closer to hand. Arclight strike destroys pentacle but in
- doing so its damage is dispersed.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: the lorestave arc of light in its various forms cannot be used to strike concurrently with physical attacks
- against the same target. This means should you, for example, issue your JAB at the same time as the lightarc strike is
- inbound your attack will shred the light and thus render it ineffectual.
- All light strikes (lightarc, lightning, arclight, etc) leave an afterglow on the target for 6 seconds. The afterglow acts are
- a protective aura reducing light strikes by 50% in addition to shielding as a 'divine aura' (e. G. gained from kelventari).
- On the other hand, the afterglow is lost quickly and there is a good chance it removes the protective aura (kelventari) at
- the same time.
