[center][b]Chapter 21: Rage's Escape[/b][/center]

Hawk kicked Black away then sent a Shining Fist which he avoided. "I did what I could to save those people!  I understand you're angry but this isn't the way to solve it!"

"You know nothing!" Black growled as he avoided a Blizzaga from Sara then was hit by Kynthia's Moon Wave. Black recovered only to find himself surrounded. He lifted up his hands in surrender but let a grenade drop then jumped out of the way.

"Everyone, scatter! It's a plasma grnade!" Hawk yelled as the members ran away and the grenade detonated. He then looked up and saw Black being carried in the air by a strange demon. "It couldn't be..."

"[i]Looks like it is.[/i]" Yami Hawk said. "[i]And something tells me he found out about that.[/i]"

The creature let Black down near the entrance and vanished as he ran ahead, being chased by many of the Resistance members. He ducked into a room, hoping to avoid those pursuing him then climbed into the ventilation shaft. He crawled for a while then reached a control room. Black then stopped as he felt a gun barrel behind his head. "This better be good, Riku."

"I can't believe you actually tried to kill Hawk." Riku snapped, letting his gun down. "Had I known that, I would've never helped you."

"You know why I can't forgive him." Black said as he typed on the controls.

Riku sighed. "Yeah, I do. How did you find out?"

"I snuck a peek at the mission file." Black replied. "That's one of the reasons I left. I refused to work with the man who let her die."

"I'd talk you out of it but I know it's pointless." Riku said. "I'll go prepare your escape route."

"Thanks." black said as Riku left, both of them unaware of a dog that was silently growling at them.

"That guy should be around here somewhere." Flare said as she searched another room.

"Yeah but how did he sneak in here and avoid security?" Sara wondered. "No one knows our security protocols and our secret entrances except members of the Resistance."

Flare nodded. "I agree." That's when the two heard the roar of a motorcycle then jumped out of the way as Black drove down the halls. He soon drove to a big room that was filled with Resistance members, all being leaded by Vic.

"Give up. There's no escape." Vic demanded.

Black shook his head. "That saying is so cliched, icky Vicky." He then drove ahead as the members began firing at him. Black felt some of the bullets hit as he shot back at them with Lombardia. He then jumped over some of them and rode up a giant tube when Xawkh jumped down to the motorcycle. "Get off my ride."

"Like hell I will. You're coming with me whether you want to or not." Xawkh replied as he threw a jab at him but he dodged and uppercutted him. Black then elbowed him and tried to throw him off but Xawkh quickly recovered and punched him in the stomach. Black reeled but recovered then grabbed Xawkh but this time he headbutted him. Black then pushed Xawkh off then jumped off the tube and found himself facing Riku, blocking an attack from Way to the Dawn. Black sighed as he pushed the Keyblade off then knocked out Riku. he then found himself surrounded again with his back to a wall with a window. "Not again?"

"There's no escape." Vic said.

Flare nodded. "So just give up or I'll sic my Pokemon on you."

"Pokemon sucks. Duel Monsters own Pokemon." Black said as he reeved up the motorcycle then charged at the members. They all prepared themselves but where surprised as Black turned around and jumped out off the window. He rode his bike down the wall before jumping off and landing on a giant pipe and rode off.

"He got away!" Vic cursed as she punched the wall.

Riku shook his head. "Whoever that guy was, he was good."

Sora nodded. "Yeah but who was he? How did he managed to sneak in? only Resistance members know about the entrances."

"He could've been a former member." Kairi said.

"That can't be right." Drake scoffed. "We change the passwords, security routines and such every time. A former member would have known that they couldn't sneak in."

"Maybe he had inside help?" Kyn guessed.

"But no member would betray us. Besides, we would've known if someone had helped that intruder sneak in." Flare said.

"He did have inside help." Mimi growled, snarling at Riku as she bared her teeth. "I saw him talking to Riku. He helped him sneak in. I saw it with my own eyes."

Many of the members then surrounded Riku, aiming their weapons at him. Vic looked at him, frowning. "Is that true? Did you actually help him get inside?"

Riku just closed his eyes and kept silent. Sora frowned as he saw his best friend keep quiet. "Please tell me it isn't true."

Riku looked down at the ground and gave a small nod. Vic shook her head. "Sorry, Riku but you're under arrest. Take him to the holding cells."

Two of the members saluted and escorted Riku out of the room. "Why would he help him?" Kairi asked, frowning.

"That's what we'll find out when we interrogate him." Vic said then frowned as she saw Hawk walking into the room. What happened? Where were you? We just found out Riku helped the intruder sneak in and arrested him."

Hawk sighed. "I know why he helped him. I also know who that stranger is..."

Sora blinked. "You do? Who is he?"

Hawk looked away from the rest of the group. "To be honest, I didn't want to believe it. But considering what I saw, I have no choice but to accept it as the truth."

"Hawk, who is the guy that tried to kill you?" Vic asked, worried.

"It's... Louis." Hawk replied and the rest of the group gasped.

"But why would he want to kill you?" Kyn asked, shocked.

"Because he knows what happened at the massacre to her. He knows that I failed to protect Flora." Hawk replied.
