  1. I'm going to roleplay as Darlene Hess. She is in her early 20's who struggles with her life, specifically with the economy. She likes cats, jazz, and cars. Every Sunday morning, she does workouts and jog. She is the first child of two. Her brother is Glenn Barrett lives with her parents in the opposite area of where she lives. She lives alone in her rented apartment on the eastern side of Los Santos. She has been living alone since graduated from high school. She intended to do everything by herself and not be commanded or ordered by her parents. However, it is not the case. She left to run from Andy. Andy is her ex-boyfriend. Andy is known as a drug dealer at school. Darlene was stuck with him since the first grade and it changed her lifestyle and how she sees things. However, she has never used any illegal substances except for marijuana. She decided to leave her neighborhood right after graduation.

  3. At the moment, she works at a fine dining restaurant as a cook and the salary cannot pay the bill for the next 3 months. She does everything she can to earn money. Her boss is a Bosnian who is rude to her and the other employees. Moreover, her payment is not paid on time. She's been trying to apply for other jobs but she thinks that her current job is the most suitable job for her concerning the payment, energy, and time she spends. She has been applied in various types of jobs such as a police officer of the Los Santos Police Department, a cook at an Italian restaurant and other various types of cuisine restaurants.

  5. My character will be changed depends on how things are going in the game. She will be meeting with a few friends of mine and that is how her journey starts.

  10. Robbery can only be done in character. The maximum amount of money is $5,000. There is also a 2-hour cooldown before robbing the same person again. For a business robbery, an admin's permission through /report is needed before the robbery. This is to reduce the intensity of robbery and make it as realistic as possible. Ramming someone just to rob them is not a proper way of robbery because it is a lack of roleplay reason to do a robbery (unrealistic). For a house robbery, players may use /breakin instead of /rent and take the inventory out of it (bannable).
  11.
  12. Scamming can only be done in character. The maximum amount of money is $75,000. Properties (real estate and vehicles) are forbidden as the object of the scam. However, you may scam drugs and weapons because the rules stated no restrictions for them. Loaning is also applied the same. A name change or CK on an active scamming will lead to the removal of the money and return to the other party.
  13.
  14. There are crime-free areas to avoid these actions committed unrealistically:
  15. - Government buildings (such as police and fire stations, the prison and city hall).
  16. - Banks (ATM's not included)
  17. - Airport
  18. - Customization feature (the player is considered INSIDE the building)
  19. - Ammunation area

  21. Offensive roleplay is a type of roleplay that could offend or disturb someone for doing such. Prior to the roleplay, both parties must agree OOCly. If one of the parties feels too much disturbance, they may end or skip the roleplay. This includes sexual, gore, cannibalism, disability (as long as I know, it also could disturb someone), and any others. However, since it needs consent from the parties, the roleplay needs to be done invisibly or out of sight of the other players. This includes the sexual harassment done by a player in a public place.
  22.
  23. It is not allowed to use a famous name (could be a celebrity, scholars, etc) as a character. It is to avoid a dispute or conflict from those who own the name OOCly. It happened on LSRP SAMP when a faction named as a real organization (OOCly). Character names should be realistic and not intentionally comical to prevent players from developing an unrealistic character. Also, it is to ensure that players have a realistic background character instead of trolling around with a gag name or comical name.

  28. Powergaming is doing an unrealistic action that can't be done in real life. It also means not to force someone to do a certain roleplay. Roleplaying as an NPC is not allowed either. RP fear, in this case, is also classified as a powergaming.
  29. For example:
  30. - I throw someone to the sky and force him to die because of it. /me throws A into the sky powerfully, killing him.
  31. - I have a few grams of crack in my vehicle and a police check on it. He asks through /do where the drugs can be found? I intentionally roleplay that my crack is not in the vehicle but at my house. -> a play to win mentality to avoid the arrest.
  32. The CCTV usage depends on whose CCTV is it.
  33.
  34. Metagaming is using out of character information to take advantage of in character matter. However, there is a discord IC channel but it needs supervision by the admins.
  35. For example:
  36. - I PM my friend to come and help me from being robbed
  37. - Using a third party application (e.g. discord voice chat) as a medium to communicate. This makes my character looks like a robot as I only focus on the discord voice chat
  38. - Looking on the screenshots to find a target to rob
  39.

  41.
  42. This is what I learnt from being an LSPD member in SAMP LSRP. In this scenario, Katie does not have a realistic character development. As a freshly recruited officer, her paygrade shouldn't be high enough to afford a brand new elegy and a house. In my opinion, it is only Katie's (as the OOC who plays her) desire to buy an elegy and a house. If the player really wants to own them, he/she should have created a new character with a good background to afford those properties. In this case, Katie mixes up OOC and IC matters intentionally just to make money.
  43.
  44. This is a roleplay server. People are expected to have a realistic character development. In this case, Katie has deviated her character from being an officer (who is mostly busy with her duty depending on the shift) to mine for the OOC money I might say. In my point of view, she should have stayed on where she was as a police. A roleplay server's quality depends on the players. Rolepaly is not a play-to-win type of games but instead to do as realistic as possible in real life. Don't forget the fun:)
  45.
  46. -==--=
  47. In my point of view, this is also a lack of character development. I haven't tried the GTA world before and I don't really know the street names. I assume Davis is a poor neighborhood. I think it is not realistic as a gang member who sells "some" drugs, which I also assume not in a large amount of drugs, to then open a club in downtown Vinewood. Moreoever, he made a connection with someone that he doesn't really know either. In real life, it would be impossible to get funded by a random dude.
  48.
  49. The game limits the players to interact with. It, of course, differs from the real life where we can meet many people on the street. In this case, in my opinion, Davis met a person because of the limited playerbase on the server. For example, if there is only one official illegal faction in the server, most likely the unofficial factions will make connections with it just to get the illegal goods distributions.
  50.

  52.
  53. I would PM my friend to roleplay. There could be a chance that we were watched by the police in Chamberlain Hills, a BOLO on my car, or anything possible due to IC matter. The point is just to roleplay at anytime. There could be a reason that the police have to pull us over. Roleplay is not a play-to-win.
  54.
  55. If then we knew or suspected that the police metagamed, I would take screenshots and any other proofs and report him on the forums (or in game). The admins would conclude if such roleplay was a void or not. If the admins said a void, I would ask for refund of my marijuana and other losses. Therefore, I would tell my friend to continue the roleplay. If the roleplay was unlawful according to myself or my friend, I would report him based on the in game rules.
