Man the internet sucks these days; watermarked memes, every topic, no matter how innocuous or unrelated, can turn into /pol/spam, shilling and astroturfing everywhere, search engine results are so heavily tilted towards paid results, "content" "creators" begging for money at every turn instead of doing things for their own sake or passion, "memes" degenerating into complete nonsense etc

I think one of the worst things about the internet these days is how it's killed authenticity.
