  1. Dear Prof. Turner and Prof. Steen,
  2. The past two weeks have been very exhausting for me (My guide in college had a lot of work planned for me during the summers which I was not aware of until a few days back). Though I would have liked to continue the gsoc project alongside my work at college, I think the workload might be a bit too much. Also, frequent power outages here (inadequate rains have led to water shortage) and frequent, unpredictable losses in internet connection, are very frustrating and have just made it worse. I do not want to make false promises about delivering something by summer-end and not be able to do it in time.

  4. I have thought over it a lot for the past few days, continuously trying to find out ways to avoid it, but I think it would be better that I stop now. I have not been able to put in a lot of work for gsoc during this coding period and frankly, that is very embarrassing for me and I feel guilty.

  6. You have been very understanding and helped me whenever I asked for it. It's been really great knowing about you and Red Hen's work (even for the short time that I have been with you). It is with a sad heart that I inform you of my decision to withdraw from this program. But, I was not at all lying when I said I wanted to contribute to Red Hen. If you permit me, I would still like to contribute to Red Hen, only not through the gsoc program. I would still like to work whenever I find time (mostly during weekends and sometimes in the weekdays too). I don't think I deserve this payment and am ready to return the first payment of $500 received a few weeks back. I hope you understand and forgive me and I can continue to be a part of this team (contributing in whatever small way I can)
