  1. Alexithymiaa: -Brad was lying on the couch only sort of watching the game because he didnt really care about football, but he did enjoy the halftime show and the elaborate commercials that aired during the game. And of course he enjoyed the beer and snacks tradition to Super Bowl time. He was munching on a handful of pretzels with a beer sitting on the floor at his feet and watching the rest of the commercials air.-
  2. Covet: Kelsey came out of the bedroom having checked on Connor, who still wasn't really feeling good. She came out and looked at Brad, " Any change in the game?" She asked him, walking over to the couch to sit down on it. "How are you feeling? Connor's fever is down, and he's out like a light."
  3. Alexithymiaa: "It's over. Someone won, I forget who." He said as he popped another pretzel into his mouth. "I'm still pretty congested and I can't actually taste anything I've eaten, but it's better than it's been."-
  4. Covet: "That's good, sounds like a couple more days of cold medicine and you'll be right as rain." Kelsey said reaching over to give his head a pat as she laid back into the couch. "I feel like the Superbowl just isn't what it used to be when I was younger."
  5. Alexithymiaa: "I feel like the Super Bowl is way more hyped than it should be. I don't see what the big deal is. Or ever was, for that matter." He corrected quickly, reachign down to pick up his beer from the floor to take a sip. "It just seems like a way to sell a bunch of stuff."-
  6. Covet: "Since when did you care about consumerism?" She asked Brad with a laugh. "It's no different than watching football games for the school. Just on a much larger scale. But with all the other controversies, over People kneeling for the anthem and something about under inflated footballs, It's lost the friendly rivalship."
  7. Alexithymiaa: "The difference between watching this and watching the school games is about a million dollars a commercial spot. Pretty sure school games don't drive that kind of income. And if they did, I'd hope we'd have better facilities. Or maybe the bathrooms just wouldn't smell so bad all the time." He said with a shrug.-
  8. Covet: "Hence why I said on a much larger scale?" Kelsey said sighing as he prattled on. "The school still sells merch at the events, sure it's not at the prices of the superbowl, but none the less."
  9. Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, it's just kind of crazy that just the air time for fifteen or thirty seconds during the game is millions of dollars. That's so much riding on a few seconds. Your commercial needs to be the absolute best for that kind of money just to be seen." He paused, considering it. "It'd be really cool to get to direct a super bowl commercial."-
  10. Covet: "Eh, if you aren't already a top business. I mean, do you think one messed up superbowl ad would really effect Budlight's sales? It might if it contained something controversial, but that aside. People are going to drink cheap awful beer." Kelsey said. "But I do agree, I'd love to see you do something of that caliber maybe at some point."
  11. Alexithymiaa: "I don't think it's going to negatively impact their sales, but I think you could definitely see a spike after the commercial if it's a really good one. It happens all the time that people thought it was funny and it stuck with them and that's why they bought it when it came time to choose a beer at the store." He said with a nod. "Someone would have to trust me a lot to put that in my hands. Super Bowl commercials have the same budgets as some movies."-
  12. Covet: "Either that or you have to win the lottery." Kelsey said. "True, but the spike isn't going to cary them because not all of those people are going to continue to purchase it once they find something better."
  13. Alexithymiaa: "Also true, but that spike, even temporary, usually pays for that commercial in itself. Advertising is weird." He said with a roll of his eyes. "I dont know if the lottery is going to help me."-
  14. Covet: "Then they really aren't losing anything at all. If they have the money to do it, they I guess, they get that right?" Kelsey said with a laugh.
  15. Alexithymiaa: "I guess so. I feel like this is something I should learn more about considering what I do for a living." He snorted a little, amused at his own ignorance and taking another swig of his beer. "Maybe I'll pick up another class next semester."-
  16. Covet: "Hmm, maybe the superbowl isn't so bad afterall." Kelsey said with a grin, "It's inspired you to reach out more."
  17. Alexithymiaa: "I don't think it was the Super Bowl that inspired me as much as commercials in general did, but sure. Whatever makes you happy." He reached his hand out to give her leg a gentle squeeze, being mindful that he was still sick so he didn't want to lean into her face too close.-
  18. Covet: "There wouldn't be the comercials without the game it's self." She said sticking her tongue out as she squeezed his hand back. "I have an extra dance rehersal for tour show stuff, this week. Do you want me to have Holly keep Connor later that day?" Kelsey asked.
  19. Alexithymiaa: "Which day? It depeneds which one of us is still sick. If we're both still sick, it's probably better to have that extra help. If I'm still sick and he's not... I definitely can't keep up, but if I'm feeling better I can handle it."-
  20. Covet: "Tuesday. It will only be for an hour or two." She said to him. "Hopefully Connor's doing better by then. Poor kiddo was miserable all weekend."
  21. Alexithymiaa: "I know, I feel like we had a coughing contest earlier. Not exactly the type of contest I think he was hoping for this weekend." He spoke with a frown. "We'll play it by ear then. Worst case scenario I'll call Holly that morning and let her know."-
  22. Covet: "Okay that works. My poor boys." She said with a bit of a pout. " Would a steamy shower do you some good with that congestion before bed?" She asked him.
  23. Alexithymiaa: "It might. Yesterday was tough because the steam seemed to make it harder to breathe in my chest and lungs area. I can't win." He shook his head, standing up from the couch and picking up his beer. "Guess there's only one way to find out though."-
  24. Covet: "At the very least a naked me might make part of you feel better." She said with a smirk as she got up, and started ushering him towards the bathroom for semi sexy sick shower time.
