No-sells Death Note

“Hmmm, this isn’t what I expected. I came to visit this world’s god, and yet all I see is some teenager who thinks he has some power.” This cold remark caused Light to clench his teeth. Never had he been disrespected like this, and never did he expect to be discovered for who he really was. “Still, I came here with a purpose. Light, my name is Mr. Celo Phane. You can call me Phane. I’m here to offer you a chance.” Despite this, he had no intentions of listening to this strange man. Light reached for his Death Note, and wrote something in it.

Celo Phane, Heart Attack in 5 seconds

He needed to speed this up. He couldn’t risk waiting 40 seconds, especially from someone who knew who he was. “I’m hosting an event, and I-” Phane was cut short by a sudden pain in his body. He reached for his chest, before collapsing on the ground. “There’s your mistake, Phane. My name isn’t Light. I’m Kira.” Light turned around, pondering how he would get a dead body from his room to a safe place without alerting his family. Even more curious was how he got in there, or even how he knew who Light was.

“So, what do you think? Great acting, right?” Phane tapped Light on his shoulder, causing him to jump back and start screaming. Ryuk couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh, he got you good.”
