1. Measure and record circumference of each pumpkin with tape measure
2. Place pumpkin on newspaper
3. Use knife to carve out top of pumpkin, including stem
4. Remove all seeds by hand
5. Count all seeds removed (exclude anything smaller than 1cm)
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each of the seven other pumpkins
