So we decided to enter the ‘dungeon’ that is part of this town. It is where the town seems to gather magical items from, though at quite a high cost, usually lives, from what I understand. Our little troupe is much more capable than the kobolds and yetis in this town however, so we didn’t have too much trouble on our first foray.
It does appear the dungeon has a caretaker or guardian of sorts. After we figured out the initial puzzle to enter the dungeon, mashing a bunch of statues that come to life, we were met by the guardian. IT warned us and babbled on about trespassing, didn’t really listen to us at all, summoned a bunch of monsters and vanished from sight. We quickly dispatched the creatures, and continued our search.
We came across the previous party’s camp that was in the dungeon, and some corpse crawlers that proved to be rather nasty if you let them get close. Liliana was infected briefly before we could cure her (thankfully) and we decided it would be a good idea to regroup and continue on the following day after resupplying.
