- >"Feed me!"
- >A little purple bat-filly with a poofy, frilly mane, bright blue eyes, and a wide-open mouth sits across from you at a small, oak table.
- "Sirocca, you're almost twelve. You can feed yourself."
- >Her mouth closes, and she casts a glare of pure frustration at you.
- >The glare changes to puppy-dog eyes and a quivering lower lip.
- >"P-please, papa?"
- "Fine. But, you have to promise that you won't do anything crazy."
- >"I promise!"
- >With a mango in hand, you reach across the table.
- >Sirocca's mouth opens as wide as possible once more.
- >Her fangs sink into the mango, and you wedge it against her lower set of teeth.
- >She struggles to bite it, but you've wedged it just right.
- >She squeaks and screeches, her hooves grasping at the mango to try and pull it out.
- >"A'a."
- >It sounds like she's saying 'papa.'
- >But she isn't.
- >Before you can reach across the table to remove the mango, the earth beneath you rumbles.
- >"M'nglui mng'lw'nfah Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'mangl fhtagn."
- >Sirocca rises atop a very large orange-yellow orb as you tumble backwards over the sundered earth.
- >Two large tendrils pop the mango out of Sirocca's mouth.
- >"Sorry, Papa. You know what has to happen."
- "Sirocca, no! You stop this nonsense right now, and send Mangothulhu home!"
- >"I can't, it's already begun!"
- >A single tear falls from her eye.
- >You stand in defiance and shout up at her.
- "You either stop this, or you won't have any more mangoes for a week!"
- >"No more mangoes?"
- >A loud screech fills the air.
- >"I'll have all the mangoes I want, I don't need you!"
- "If you strike me down, your mother's going to ground you for life!"
- >"SO BE IT!"
- >The foot of the eldritch mango horror hovers overhead.
- >You stare at it, not out of fear, but out of disappointment in your daughter.
- >Speck is going to ground her for so long.
- >Good thing everything in this world is made of marshmallows and fluff.
- >Even the monsters.
- >Its foot crashes down on you.
- >It feels like a very large marshmallow.
- >She's grounded.
