"Mom," he nodded, "Dad – and hello to you girls as well. How was the flight?"

"Er- ah… the flight was good," she said, caught off-guard for a moment and answering automatically.

"Neo, can you give me a second?" he asked, turning to his right and it took Juniper a second to realise that there was someone stood beside him. How she could have missed the colourful girl she had no idea, but maybe it was because of how small she seemed in comparison to her son. Had he always been so tall - or was it just the way he carried himself?

The girl nodded, looking her son in the eye before strolling away with a coy smile. She felt Nicholas stiffen beside her, his hand falling to his side. "She moves like a Huntress," he said out loud, "She's dangerous."

"You have no idea," Jaune laughed, striding up to wrap his arms around her.

Jaune's hands tightened around the hilt of his weapon. "Then I'll show you," he whispered. "I'll show you how strong I am."

"Before you do… do you want to call down your shadow?"

For a moment he panicked and imagined that his students had somehow learned about the spar, but a second later he relaxed as he felt a familiar pair of eyes locked onto him. "Neo," he called – and she appeared before him a second later. She was in her Noah disguise, and unarmed to boot, but she looked no less frightening for that fact.

"She's followed us since the Bullhead," Nicholas hummed. "I didn't say anything at first, but I don't trust her remaining hidden while I fight you."
