Hello, I am Valdorel, GDC/Leader of FOX, the DJO MechWarrior Club

I am sending this letter to all DJO staff, Club Leaders, and will post it publicly for all members of DJO to see shortly. And will likely be banned by DJO for doing so, but I believe it is the only way to possibly save DJO. Please forgive the wall of text.

(One small mention ahead of time, I do not speak for TRA or any other club, but I mention them several times in this letter because I have witnessed them undergo similar harassment by High Command to what FOX has undergone. But they make their own decisions and my statements only represent FOX's position.)

---

DJO is dying, and it is completely the fault of the current High Command Staff. The entirety of them have been 100% negligent in the duties they agreed to preform when they took their command positions. Some of these problems have been ignored or actively allowed to continue for a year or more. Meanwhile they use their authority to silence anyone who voices even minor disagreements with them

There are many examples recently, that all of DJO membership and staff should be aware of. The list is quite extensive, so I apologize in advance if It seems like rambling.

---Club Council Related Issues---

-High Command has knowingly rigged the Club Council by preventing club leaders (Namely TRA's) that have qualified for voting power for over a year from joining due to personal rivalries and vendettas. There is no excuse for this, If Command staff cannot preform their duties fairly and equally for all members, then they should not be in Command.

-High Command has either negligently or knowingly allowed Clubs to keep voting power that should have lost it a long time ago due to our inactivity rules. (Namely RGF and IGF, but more on this point in a minute.)

-These issues affected a recent official call for a vote on the removal of Command members.

-High Command was required to give the Council regular updates as to the activity status of struggling clubs BEFORE the situation becomes critical so that the DJO community can come together and develop a plan to help the struggling club(s). At no point did this occur, and now long time clubs (Namely RGF and IGF) have been allowed to dwindle below activity requirements for quite some time.

-The High Command is required to provide updates to the Council and all Club leaders on the above issues no less than every 60-days. But This August marks 1 full year of ZERO communication on these issues at all between the High Command and the Council.

---General Non-Council-Specific Issues---

-High Command has repeatedly applied two different sets of rules to themselves and others. Constantly harassing, lying to, belittling, and occasionally even cussing-out club leaders and members they don’t like, with no consequences, but banning or threatening to ban people for outing their wrongdoing and double-standards.

-Messages posted by Club Leaders are routinely deleted and bans threatened. Namely ones by myself, and TRA's leadership. Rather than maintaining an open dialogue within the DJO Discord, there is now a culture of "shut-up and leave if you don't like it", that has infected DJO any time High Command is either caught breaking the rules, or treating people unfairly. Director of Security Marsuveesblack has even told me when removing posts that break no rules things like "The rules are what I say they are." and "I can when I'm chief of security."
-3 weeks ago High Command held a vote to ban me and my club for bringing a scandal to public light where a High Command member (ThunderMax) had taken thousands of dollars in community money from members of multiple different clubs to crowd fund a computer for another DJO member, then refused to deliver said computer for over 2 1/2 years. CnC Kaotic was aware of this issue for well over a year as we had asked him privately for help before Thunder even became CnC XO, in that time Kaotic did nothing, and allowed ThunderMax to keep his position despite the issue. They have told me that by bringing this issue into the public light I was 'harassing' ThunderMax. Command says this is "a FOX issue, not a DJO issue" despite a DJO High Command member having taken money from members of 3+ clubs and made years worth of excuses as to why the project could neither be completed or refunded. As of 2 months ago the comupter was finally delievered, but only after we publicly called for Thunders removal. There have been no consequences for Thunder, and Command has told us that we a "not ALLOWED to discuss or pursue this issue further."

-Long time member Dr.Death was banned by Kaotic simply because he mentioned that he knows DJO's owner DCHero in real life and intended to talk to him about things going on in DJO. At the time Club leaders were told that he was "threatening DJO to do what he told them or he'd tattle to Hero" But that doesn’t line up with Death's words on the issue, and the High Command has proven that they will lie continuously to protect their positions. Dr.Death may have been very annoying at times, but there is no rule about banning people who are annoying. On top of that Command later SPECIFICALLY mentioned that a main reason for doing so was to not let DCHero find out about Command's plans to create a new website for fear of Hero's reaction. This represents a significant conflict of interest, and an inability for Command to apply the rules fairly.

-High Command has repeatedly replied with "What do the clubs ever do for us?" whenever we have a problem with how DJO is run, or a request of them. And that attitude is the core of what is killing DJO. They have also repeatedly refused to take responsibility for failing to preform any of their agreed upon duties for over a years time.

-The List goes on…

I and the FOX club are calling for the immediate resignation of the High Command, and a vote  to elect replacements. The official process for doing this is meaningless given that High Command knowingly kept information secret to rig the vote, so a new process will have to be agreed upon by Club leaders, Division Managers, and remaining Staff. This is supposed to be a place of friendly gaming, support, and cooperation, not a personal internet kingdom where High Command lords over and abuses the clubs. If the High Command refuses to step down FOX will be leaving DJO within the week. If that occurs I would encourage the other Clubs and Divisions to reflect on their own relationship with DJO, and whatever path is right for them.

I understand the past year has been difficult for everyone, but for the High Command to uniformly refuse to preform the duties they volunteered for, while at the same time using their authority to constantly threaten and abuse the clubs is unacceptable.

I have no doubt that High Command will accuse me of doing this as some kind of "power grab" as they have accused me in the past, and that could not be further from the truth. If I wanted a HC position I could have taken one any of the several times they've been offered to me, and I have no desire to rule DJO myself. What I do desire for the Community to be run fairly by people who care beyond their own toxic self-interests, so that this community can have a chance to thrive and provide a positive atmosphere for all of its membership once again.
