Quest of the Night Market : PART I

- Within the Skarch desert you will find an old illuminati beside an
obelisk [30422].
- Greet him and he may tell you that the market is closed.
- If this is so, the first thing you must do is to unseal the obelisk.
- This is done by killing the sand worms and collecing the purple glands they
  drop; one per sand worm. Then the obelisk is primed.
- Manipulate the obelisk [push, pull, turn etc.] to enter the night market
  between the hours of 7 eventide and 7 morn. Timing is important as you will
  need it to complete the tasks within. The Night Market is only accesible AT
  NIGHT! You will be promptly kicked out at the obelisk at 7am.

- Once the obelisk is primed and the way open, greet the illuminati and ask
  him about the ritual he will perform. He will tell you that he needs certain
  reagents.
- You will need the following:

1. Cup of slime
2. Bottle of smoke
3. Mirrored apple
4. Crystal napkin
5. Burning diamond
6. Bleeding sandal
7. Purple wig

CUP OF SLIME
- Go into the market.
- Greet the Opaque merchant who you will have to find.
- Ask him for a cup of slime.
- He will tell you that he needs the eyes of the scarabs.
- Kill 25 scarabs and collect the eyes that they drop.
- Give them to the merchant who will give you the cup of slime.
- Take it to the illuminati and give it to him.

BOTTLE OF SMOKE
- Go into market.
- Find the Diaphanous merchant.
- Ask her about dreams.
- Ask her for the recepticle. She will give you a dream catcher.
- Then you must weaken 20 of the sightseers in the market.
- Give the dream catcher to the merchant who gives you the bottle of smoke.
- Give the bottle of smoke to the illuminati.

MIRRORED APPPLE
- Go into the market.
- Find the Tawdry merchant.
- Ask for the mirrored apple.

The Tawdry merchant says, "I will barter a mirrored apple for the songs
of the unborn pink, yellow and orange wakabis. Food for the body traded
for the soul's food."

***It must not be winter for this portion of the quest.***
- Kill all the cobras you can find in the Skarch Desert.
- Give the cobra to a wakabi who will lay an egg.
- If you take the egg they will attack you though they do little damage and
  do not break shields. You can have up to 5 eggs before that does not work
  anymore so you will have to dispose of the others. Generally I would
  give the ones I did not need to Teaka who would eat them. Then you can
  get more eggs.
- Give the eggs to the merchant in the Night Market as you get them.
  He will remember.
- Give the apple to the illuminati.

*** Do what the other merchants ask. Just ask them sequentially the next
item on the list.***

CRYSTAL NAPKIN

***It MUST NOT be winter for the portion of this quest, the cacti are dormant and do not do anything then***

- Go to the Ecumenical Merchant. Greet several times until they talk about the napkin.
- He needs violet, orange, and green kouseki flowers

**Kill cobras. There are 20 in Skarch. You can also use the 6 in the Reserve (you'll have to dig some up).

- Give cobras to researchers in the Mesa Compound - if they aren't taking cobras you're out of luck and you have to find which part the research are on. Talk to Indiau Eepex at v5359 about the kouseki flowers.

**Researchers give you colourful beakers, red yellow or blue. Go and drop 2 beakers on the kouseki cactus plants in skarch. Doing so will make a flower according to the colours that you dropped.

BURNING DIAMOND

The Shining Merchant wants laughter from the minstrels. Ask for the diamond, and the MERCHANT ASK CANDLE. Empower all 20 minstrels to get the diamond. And turn those in.

BLEEDING SANDAL

The Scarlet Merchant gives you a choice of a burning sandal or a bleeding sandal;
the path of violence or the path of lust. You must choose between killing
denizens or influencing them with seduction.
- Give the sandal to the Illuminati.

PURPLE WIG

The Crowned Merchant deals in justice. Mention the wig, and he will want teeth to make a crown for the Queen. The teeth come from the skulking thieves. Kill 30 thieves for 30 teeth. He will give you the wig.
- Give wig to the Illuminati and you're done!
