Wipe your face

Covet: Kelsey was standing at the counter looking at the display case, glancing it over but unsure of what she wanted to get. She quickly shook her head and called out, "Crap, I knew I forgot something this weekend."sighing she looked over at Connor who was happily going to town on his pie and ice cream, having opted for the Peach snickerdoodle pie. "Careful eating that you'll give yourself a brainfreeze. "
Alexithymiaa: -Brad sat at the counter with Connor, a slice of sugar free chocolate creme pie in front of him. He held his fork in his hand, beginning to wave it through the air in Kelsey's direction. "The only way to learn about brain freezes is to experience them. What did you forget this weekend?"-
Covet: "Really? Should I ask you if you've learned from them yet?" She asked teasing him. "I forgot to get a hold of Anna. And I was thinking we should probably get a hold of Ozzie and Katie at some point, because We haven't seen them in a couple of weeks. I don't want them to think we're feeling awkward about everything."
Alexithymiaa: "I've learned. I just don't care." He said with a cheeky grin, scooping a bite of pie into his mouth. "Oh yeah, we should definitely reach out to them. If you want, I can text Ozzie tomorrow and see what they're doing on maybe... Thursday?"-
Covet: Kelsey laughed and shook her head at Brad, then nodded "That'd be great yeah. What do you think Kiddo, Do you want to go visit with Lulu?" She asked. // Connor had a mouthful of ice cream and was nodding his head, "I haven't seen her in forever. She probably says a lot more now."
Alexithymiaa: -Brad couldn't help, but laugh at Connor when he looked up with his face covered in ice cream. Slowly slipping out of his seat, he walked around behind Kelsey, leaning into her ear and dropping his voice to a whisper so Connor wouldn't hear. "Did you want to plan a little party for him?"-
Covet: "I would like to, yes." She said with a soft smile, " I just don't know where or what to do other than his one of his birthday gifts. I was thinking we could plan some sort of cook surprise thing for him." Kelsey whispered back to him.
Alexithymiaa: -He lifted his hand to put it on Kelsey's shoulder, continuing to whisper. "What do you mean by a cook surprise?"-
Covet: Kelsey shook her head, "I meant, cool surprise. Sorry it's been a long weekend. I spent most of it at the studio doing harmony tracks and working on a couple other things. But you know like how the parents give the kid a travel bag and it's filled with all sorts of cool things to let them know, most of them do it for Disneyland, but I think we could totally do it for Universal. " She said keeping he voice down still as well.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh that would be really cool. Okay we could get like a cool Harry Potter wand... and maybe a Dr. Seuss book, and a dinosaur?" He asked, beginning to get a little excited about putting this together.-
Covet: "Mhhm. Those would all be perfect, then there will be some snacks and activity things too for him. And of course we'll bring his think pad and some movies for the flight." Kelsey nodded, turning around to look at him giving him a smile. "Is it weird that it's still so delightfully adorable I think it is when you get all excited about Dad stuff."
Alexithymiaa: -He glanced over at Connor enjoying his pie and ice cream before looking back down at Kelsey. "So does that mean I can't do nice things for Connor or care about him without you getting all mushy on me?"-
Covet: "That's not at all what I was saying. Even if that might be true..." She said with a laugh, "If it makes you feel any better, it's also kind of sexy too." Kelsey stuck her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "It absolutely does make me feel better, thank you for that." He tipped his head down to brush his lips over hers. "What would you have done if he and I didnt get along so well?"-
Covet: "You're welcome, Hun." She told him, giving him a kiss back, then sucked through her teeth as she thought, " Honestly? A lot fewer exciting things, that's for sure."
Alexithymiaa: "What do you mean by that?" He asked her, his arm sliding around her waist as he shifted to lean against the glass display case.-
Covet: "I mean that I wouldn't have kept you around long enough to experience all the.... unique experiences we've had." She grinned as she leaned back along the curve of the glass, with a soft laugh, taking a glance at Connor who looked like he was about to hit a sugar coma.

Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I had a feeling that's what that would have resulted in." He moved his free hand to adjust the beanie on his head, his eyes following Kelsey's glance over to Connor and his nearly empty plate. "He's going to crash so hard after that."-
Junipt: Aleks walked into the establishment. His attire more on the formal side; he wore a black sports coat, with a light grey shirt and matching light grey slacks. His black dress shoes clanked softly against the floor as he approached the stools. He sat himself and waited to be approached for service.
Covet: "But it didn't and we have lots of fun." Kelsey told him sticking her tongue out at him, then turned to notice the guy that sat at the other end of the counter. She spoke to Brad, keeping an eye on the gentleman and her son who was on their end of the bar, "Yes he is, and thank God for that."
Alexithymiaa: "This is all very true." He said with a curt nod, his eyes swinging over to assess the incoming make that took a seat at the counter. He moved over to take his seat on the end next to Connor, putting his hand on the child's back. "Are you all finished?"-
Junipt: ((Welp that's dissapointing .... have to go. I shall return.)

Covet: Watching the guy leave again, Kelsey's gaurd went back down as she watched Brad talk to Connor. // "Yeah, I'm gonna esplode like a pie and ice cream balloon if I eat more." Connor said with a yawn rubbing his eyes.
Alexithymiaa: -He started to laugh, reaching for a napkin from the dispenser and beginning to wipe Connor's sticky face, but dry napkin so not a lot of luck. He's not Kelsey's level of parent. "We can't have that. Who's going to pick up all the pieces of you explode? That's too much work."-
Covet: "Hun, just leave that until we get back to the dorms, it's not like it's going to go anywhere." She told Brad, trying not to cringe at his face washing skills. // "Momma would. And then you'd have to put me back together like Humpty Dumpty." Connor sad as he scrunched his face up, "Yeah Dad, I'll wash at home." He added pushing his hand away.
Alexithymiaa: "Alright, alright." He said, dropping the crumbled and sticky napkin onto the counter. "And you need to brush those teeth after all of that sugar." He said to him before turning to look at Kelsey. "I tried."-
Covet: "It's fine. I appreciate you trying." Kelse told him reaching for his hand, Because Connor was already sliding off his seat. They said time to go, and he was going. "You still have to wait for us, Kiddo. The doors are locked." Kelsey said to him as she offered a hand out for Brad. // " I will brush my teeth, Dad." Connor said as he slid down and started for the door, then looked back at Brad and Kelsey, " I know, so hurry up. I need my sleep for school tomorrow."
Alexithymiaa: "Wow, you believe this guy?" He asked Kelsey sarcastically, jerking his thumb in the direction of Connor before taking Kelsey's hand. He started for the door behind Connor, pulling his car keys from his pocket. "We've all got to get up early tomorrow, Little Man. Hold your horses."-
Covet: "It's like he's my son or something." Kelsey said blinking with a dry laugh, heading for the door so they could go out and get into the car. // " There's no horses to hold, Dad. So that means we all need to hurry because we should all be in bed." He said almost in a scolding tone. // Kelsey looked at Brad, then nodded her head, "You heard the little man."
Alexithymiaa: "Wowwwwww." He said with a laugh, following them out to the car and helping Connor get in and strapped so they could go put him in bed since he was so dead set on it.-
