  1. Rhys moved himself over to take a grab at the wooden broadsword tossing it up a bit spinning it as he stood still before he tightened his fist around it while moving himself towards Ivan. He tightened his grip for a moment as he soon steeled himself as he placed himself into a basic stance as he kept a gaze on Ivan before he smirked.
  2.
  3. "Then I'll make sure we'll aid you both."
  4.
  5. He assumed they were going to start attacking Ivan first, then himself, then Iris then so on and so forth. It seemed simple enough, at least before execution. That being said he soon hurled himself towards Ivan wrenching his hand back to slash at Ivan's side, it was a bunt hit and it wasn't going to do too much damage, or rather none of at all, he didn't want to harm either of the two if he could avoid it. 6.
  7. Rhys clenched his teeth as he felt his body rocking backward a small bit trying to keep himself steady as his foot rocked back and forth before he was able to properly collect his footing. He took a quick few seconds to recollect himself as he stepped forward and dashed into Ivan to hold his weapon downward before slashing upward from his right ribcage up to his left shoulder soon speeding up the first attack before he swiftly kicked off and opted to focus on Iris for a moment.
  8.
  9. Thinking about it, he wasn't as skilled as anyone of the Astraea family or as strong as Ivan was, honestly he did see them both as high regards to himself, but that also made it easy for him to properly gauge himself, or at least so he thought, maybe his first step is to learn how to harness and use his essence effectively for combat purposes? Either way he'll have to do some..studying on that later on, for now, he focused his attention on Iris soon mimicking her stance with her practice rapier with his wooden broadsword, he had the strength for it after all as he stepped in clenching his hand around the hilt before he angeled his weapon slightly upward.
  10.
  11. Using a single step he started to swiftly jab and thrust his blade several times in front of the female increasing the speed of his blows ending his attack by pushing the ten thurst forward and turning his broadsword to use the flat of the blade to attempt to push Iris backwards a fair bit, that's if he wasn't heavily interrupted. (5)
  12.
  13. tapped his shoulder a few times with his broadsword, it was still the iron one after all, he sighed. As he approached the bandit camp, it was a small one, but it was enough for him to train while he had these weights on. Rhys took a small breath as he approached the camp. It looked well-fortified. Now, Rhys didn't know if it was stolen or they made it themselves, either way he had to raid their base regardless. He was prepared to raid it regardless, it was his task, while he was going it he might as well made it more challenging. "Hehe, shall we begin?" Rhys told himself as he started to approach the bandit's camp. (6)
  14.
  15. When he entered, Rhys didn't see anyone around at first as he stretched his arms slightly, his sword as already drawn as he started to sense somethings on his internal senses as he noticed movement with it. He took a breath as he stance himself waiting for a chance to strike. He smirked as the first bandit jumped from behind him attempting to catch him by surprise. "Wrong move." Rhys grinned as he turned his body serving behind and slamming the flat of his blade into the chin of the bandit before he tossed him into the ground. Which each movement he felt the strain on his muscles given he was wearing weights; they did help add a bit of extra weight to his momentum. Rhys took a soft breath as he squeezed his hand around his broadsword as he waited for another to come to him, which they did. (7)
  16.
  17. The Knight merely smiled as he dashed towards the approaching bandit only to get struck by an arrow in his leg due to his carelessness. Rhys slowed down to tend to his injury by slicing off one end of the arrow to remove the head and then the wood from his body, he hissed for a moment, but since first blood was drawn he'd have to go all out, right? No, he didn't want to they weren't demons after all, they just need to be captured and taken out as far as Rhys knew. He exhaled as he stamped forward as he pressed forward fighting his urge to go off as he slammed the pommel into the bandit's chin attempting to incapacitate them swiftly. (8)
  18.
  19. "That's two." Rhys told himself as he searched around for the bandit leader of this small camp, at first he sensed nothing only for the leader to attempt to strike him from the sides. "Gotcha!' Rhys shouted as he attempted to counter using the return stirke, somehting he honestly hasn't done in a while, Thanfully these bandits werne't really all that compared to others, plus this was just some light training for him regardless. (9)
  20.
  21. "I need to do this more." Rhys laughed as he started to rope up the bandits before he tossed their unconscious bodies into the large wagon before he started to wheel them back to Arcadia this was also another work out for him. Maybe now he can take more missions involving physical training and bandits, or whatever as long as they gave him a good workout. (10)
  22.
  23. Rhys huffed a bit after he releases his hold on the tree to get a better angle at his work, almost everywhere in his perimeter were logs. Hanging from the sturdy branches he gave it a good whack with his weapon, soon the logs swung violently as they collided with one another causing chain reaction to occur as they bounced off one another to the point where two logs were coming towards Rhys simultaneously. While he could sense it coming, he couldn't stop the attack from colliding with the back of his head while stopping one of the logs. In a daze, Rhys held his head and crumbled a bit trying to regain some of his composure. The logs did hurt, so this was perfect training for him getting used to his weights, fighting multiple enemies and then some, or at least that's what he thought. (11)
  24.
  25. Rhys furrowed his brow a bit as he placed his hand on the ground as he slowly picked himself up after his last bout. He was making some more improvements as he felt his reaction time slowly acclimating to his weights as he was able to dodge some of the logs, but he was still getting hit or not reacting enough in order to block an incoming blow. "Dammit." he cursed as he held his back this time as he reached over to pick up his weapon. He wasn't making as much progress like he had originally envisioned bothered him greatly, the picture of the knight he had in mind was already being overshadowed by others who had already taken his place and while he was truly happy for them, he was the weakest link, or at least he felt like he was compared to the others. He knew he felt inferior to people of the Astraea clan, and rightfully so as he held them on a higher plane of importance. (12)
  26.
  27. ||This was truly unbecoming as a Knight, hell what would his parents say to him if they saw how deep in a rut the was over stuff like this? Would they berate him? Tell him that he's over thinking things? He honestly didn't know and that's what was bothering him the most. "This is pathetic." Rhys said as he started to direct his anger towards the logs surrounding him as he wacked one as hard as he could sending it flying into another starting the chain reaction again. (13)
  28.
  29. Rhys steeled his mind as shifted his footing watching the logs coming towards him, firs the struck the log rather had before getting himself pushed back. “Shit.” He didn’t notice it but there was a second log behind the first adding more force towards the impact, he also had some coming from the side and luckily nothing was coming from the back. First, he dashed forward thinking he could tank the incoming blow by using his sheath to block most of the built-up impact causing him to stagger backwards. He didn’t have much time to retaliate so he ducked under narrowly avoiding another strike.(14)

  31. As Rhys continued to train his body and mind he seemed to have minor flash backs of sparring with the others, he remembered it vividly as he moved himself over to take a grab at the wooden broadsword tossing it up a bit spinning it as he stood still before he tightened his fist around it while moving himself towards Ivan. He tightened his grip for a moment as he soon steeled himself as he placed himself into a basic stance as he kept a gaze on Ivan before he smirked. "Then I'll make sure we'll aid you both!"(15)

  33. Rhys seemed to chuckle for a moment recalling such memories as he continued to train his body vividly before eventually collapsing due to exhaustion once again.
  34.
  35. “I’m so tired..” (16)
