King Midas

Everything he touched turned to gold, for he weas Midas, the Conqueror! He would turn everything to gold, and the world will finally be flawless. No more wars or hatred, only peace and quiet. He would eradicate all who stood in his path. Even his own armies had turned against him, rebelling against their king. God made a mistake when he created us, his perfect children. I don't see how anything could be any further from perfect. It must all be eradicated, turned to cold, impassive, perfect gold. Only then will this world find peace.
