  1. An alternative where everyone in class plays minecraft to some capacity
  2.
  3. > class has a 24hour active minecraft server that they all occasionally play in, but never together
  4. > it stops working for some reason
  5. > class gathers in the computer room in the library where the machine is located so Alphys can check on it
  6. > suddenly the screens light up and Susie (and as she later realizes, everyone else) is zapped into minecraft
  7. > Specifically, she wakes up in her bed in her shitty cobblestone house with dirt for a ground-
  8. > Figures that since she woke up in her house, if there are others, they probably each ended up in theirs.
  9. > She (and if included, Lancer) concludes she has to find all the others so they can make it back together.
  10. > Best first step is to look for conspicuous and not auto-generated structures, something likely built by a classmate
  11. > The first thing she spots on a wide open grassland, is an enormous glass tower with an entire brick-and-ebon-wood complex built at the top.
  12. > It belongs to Berdly and her first challenge, is first getting past all the monsters swarming the brightly lit building, and then getting inside, because Berdly is so freaked out over what is going on, that he barricaded himself and built all kinds of redstone-powered traps
  13. > Once she made it to him, the next challenge she is made aware of is to get supplies and gear to realistically make it through the rest of this world.
  14. > Luckily he built a railway in the sky, across the biomes straight to small train stations in the sky above the houses of most others.
  15.
  16.
  17. > One leads right into a giant christmas-themed mansion full of chests.
  18. > Noelle is as terrified as Berdly, but didn't think to build traps and all that.
  19. > One of those sky railways leads to a giant modern day city with skyscrapers
  20. > The villagers that inhabits the office buildings tell them the lightner/the one who built it is in the broader one at the end.
  21. > It lies behind a plaza with a giant golden statue of Asgore
  22. > Unlike everyone else, whoever built it doesn't seem to have built all this with monsters/survival mode in mind, since it's all horribly illuminated and there are monsters everywhere because of that.
  23. > After fighting their way up the staircases of a thirty storage high office building, they finally make it to Alphys' personal suite.
  24. > A few problems emerge for Susie.
  25. > Berdly, Noelle and Alphys have only ever been playing the game as far as building stuff. The gear they have is good enough for surviving in the overworld, but nowhere near enough for nether/end related pve.
  26. > The other question she keeps asking herself is: Where the fuck is Kris? Where is he? Berdly's railways lead to all the others, Mkid, Snowdrake, Catti&Jocks, but Kris is nowhere to be found.
  27. > She tells herself otherwise, but she's worried whether small, sensitive Kris is even capable of fending for himself here.
  28. > Eventually, by process of elimination, she suspects one track of Berdly's railway leads to Kris' house. It's the only one that doesn't lead to someone else's house.
  29. > But the destination is empty. There's nothing there, it's just the coastline of an otherwise untouched swampland at the border to an ocean biome. Berdly insists he only ever built railways to locations/coordinates that classmates said they were building houses at. So why is there nothing here?
  30.
  31.
  32. > She decides it's best if they just start scavenging the area for resources or structures with anything worth collecting.
  33. > She eventually realizes right where the water starts, there is a single wooden ladder leading into the water. (reminder that ladder 'pushes' water away)
  34. > Curiosity is enough to get them to climb the ladder to check it out.
  35. > It leads into one rectangular stone room filled with chests and the walls covered in ovens.
  36. > further below there are entire acres for every type of crop and enclosures with swarms of every type of animal
  37. > alchemy table, alchemy resources, gear of all kinds, treasure
  38. > It's a colossal underground complex with a two-to-three-storage but still very horizontal layout reaching across the underside of a large portion of the ocean.
  39. > All the gear and building material in the chest halls is meticulously ordered by type and variant and every single chest is labeled with a sign to indicate what is in it.
  40. > There is no way this place belongs to anyone else.
  41. > But still no Kris.
  42. > Where did he go?
  43.
  44.
  45. > further through the complex, the large stone halls make way for more narrow tunnels, covering more ground and with less regular or normalized gaps between branching-out tunnels
  46. > When she follows them, most of them lead to strange rooms with cactus pillars, flowing water and a chest next to the entrance door. According to the monster spawner in the middle of each one, Berdly concludes those are monster farms he must have built out of dungeons.
  47. > Their search eventually leads them to a nether portal.
  48. > Any concerns about the portal prove unfounded, as upon passing through it, they immediately find themselves in a well-lit cobblestone structure with no windows or gaps.
  49. > More tunnels, and eventually, when there are two paths, there are even signs in place to indicate which path leads to what. Reading 'blaze' and 'wither'.
  50. > Eventually - finally, after following the excruciatingly long 'blaze'-labeled tunnel, they get to another monster farm. An unfazed Kris dressed in enchanted diamond armor is killing golden fire elementals.
  51. > Susie throws a shitfit over where the fuck he's been, telling him that anything could have happened to him for all she knew.
  52. > He just says he's been farming blaze rods since he was a little short on those and pretends like there's nothing to freak out over or worry about.
  53. > He has everything from tomes, enormous supply of diamonds, to arrows, and the means to get to the end, anything they could ask for in terms of gearing up.
  54. > All ready and at Susie's disposal. All she had to do was ask.
  55. > She strangles him because how was she supposed to ask if she had no fucking idea where he was?
  56. > With all this gear, pots and Kris and Berdly's guidance, killing the Ender Dragon is a walk in the park.
