This is my very first Nuzlocke run! Here are the rules.

1: I can only catch one Pokemon per route that I explore! If the first encounter is a Pokemon I have already caught before, I may catch the next new Pokemon.
2: If my Pokemon faints in battle, it has effectively died and must be put in the graveyard/PC box.
3: I cannot use potions during battle; held items like berries, however, are okay! I may also use items that recover status effects, and stat boosting items like X Attack.
4: If a shiny appears, I may catch it, even if I've caught a Pokemon in that area already or if they are a duplicate Pokemon.
