Super Mario Maker 2 Weekly Rules

Part 1 begins at 2pm EDT (8pm CEST).  This will be a blind race of several levels.  We will give you the list of level codes just before the race begins.  You may download the levels but, but DO NOT start playing the first level until the countdown.  The countdown happens in the Discord server in #race-chat.  You must do the levels in the order they appear in the list.  There are no skips - you must finish each level before entering the next one.  When you have finished all the levels you should type "done" in the #race-chat, so we know who is finished and when.  You MUST stream if you want to qualify to get any prizes.

We'll take a short break and then everyone will being Part 2 at the same time.  For this part you will take 3 of the levels from the blind race (you'll see which 3 when you look at the level list) and you'll try to get the best possible time on each level.  You will have 15 MINUTES for the first level.  Then we'll take a short break, then you'll have 15 minutes for the second level.  Then a short break, then you'll have 15 minutes for the third level.  You can reset as many times as you need to.  The only thing that matters is your fastest in-game time for the level.  EVERY time you beat your personal best on a level you should take a screenshot from your Switch (or from your OBS window) of the level completed screen, which shows your in-game time.  We also recommend typing your PB time into the #times-and-count channel each time you beat it, so it's easier to keep track of and other people know what times everyone has.  When time is up, you should go into your screenshot gallery and show the screenshot on your stream.

Part 3 begins after everyone has finished Part 2.  We will take a short break and then do the countdown for Part 3.  Part 3 consists of 20 minutes of Endless Mode on EXPERT difficulty.  You may skip as many levels as you want.  Your goal is to beat the most levels in 20 minutes.  Please show a timer on your stream.  We will do a countdown in discord, and everyone will begin at the same time.  If you gameover you can keep playing -- the levels you've beaten do not go away.  Every time you finish a level please type your current level count in the #times-and-count channel on Discord so that we can all keep track of your progress.
