- strength is how many wounds you inflict in a single close quarters attack
- toughness is how many wounds you have
- intelligence is your arcane ability
- will is your divine magic ability
- dread is your unholy ability
- whenerver your side wins every heroic character gains 1 point to advance their stats, if your character dies you retain half the points achieved over his career and may make another heroic character
- each stat qdvancement costs twice as much as the previous except toughness which is always 1 point all initial advancements start at 1
- each magic ability has a spell list
- a heroic character is defined by having at least a non magically enhanced toughness of at least 10 and one other stat being at least 3
- a legendary character is defined by having 100 wounds and one stat at atleast 10
- Every 5 battles a player controlled heroic or legendary character wins, they may also choose a special trait from a list.
- points may also be spent on magic items.
- the base stat for every heroic character before racial modifications is 2
- Magic equipment, unless otherwise stated, breaks after a number of battles equal to the enchantment number X2.
- You may only bring a legendary character once every five sessions.
- when there are two legendary characters present they must fight one another, ignoring and being ignored by heroic and Peon characters
