The Viridian Goal
- Nevanerro began his game anew with several shards of the Viridian Gaol falling down to Rhyst. Marks were offered for those willing to play in his 'game'. The prize? The freedom of the dragons.
- The first to embark were Pascha Pavlova (Glibness) , Banastre Rowe AKA Diver (Destiny), Therolos (Patience), Ebb Calana (Sacrifice), Dura Levante (Alacrity), Goro Undergrowth (Intellect), Ana Ka'rimah (Might), and Sazha (Unity).
- On the first journey a grand deception was uncovered. Those who left as eight returned as six, with Banastre and Therolos falling in the final melee.
- On the second and final journey each of the new mark bearers departed with a chosen second:

- These eight freed the Dragons from the Gaol, and returned them to Rhyst. Many fell in the process. Captain Ana'Karima, Sazha, and Pascha did not return. Their sacrifice is remembered, and their absence keenly felt.
- A celebration of their passing was held in Providence, the Festival of the Wellspring. Humanity's Heroes were honored and their memory is kept alive.

A Cold and Bitter War
- The tensions between Providence and Deliverance finally reached a head with the latter declaring outright war.
- A last ditch effort for peace was made between the Deliverance Pillars of Saint Evermore and Caldwell and Ladies DeLisle Creux and Dura Levante.
- Deliverance called for demands to see the two settlements united under a single combined leadership, which the Providence delegation refused. Hostilities continued after these failed negotiations.
- As the war continued Providence and its allies were continually placed on the back foot, finally driven within their own walls for a final confrontation within the heart of the city.
- After gathering the combined might of the isle against the onslaught of undead, Deliverance was pushed back and defeated and cast out.
- Anivia Evermore's wrath was finally quelled when she met her demise at the hands of Lord Shepherd Olym, son of the deceased Regent Lord Demetri Olym. The late Regent's spirit assisted him in battle and laying low one of Providence's foes.
- In the wake of the war, and after negotiations, an uneasy ceasefire now reigns between Providence and the city of Deliverance. A list of Articles was declared to keep the peace.

Changing of the Guard
- In the wake of the recent war and the events of the Viridian Gaol, many of Providence's key leaders have fallen: Lord Regent Demetri Olym, Lord of Purity Dagur Castilund, and Duke Pascha Pavlova have passed on. Their will is carried on by new members of leadership.
- Lady Annete (DeLisle) Harland (Creux) has taken a position on the High Court and given the title Lady of Blood.
- Lady Dura Levante has taken the title of Regent in the passing of her predecessor, Demetri Olym.
- Lady Dura Levante then subsequently, confirming rumors spread abroad, has been entitled nobility by the will of the Imperial Court and given the title of Duchess. There has been no official ceremony or comment from the new Duchess herself.
- Several positions in the low and high courts are open, though the currently reigning Duchess mutters about a restructuring of Providence's hierarchy at large. More announcements on this are to come.


Looking to the Future
- There's construction of The Pit underway. You might have heard of it. If you haven't, and care for blood sport, it's probably good to seek out the Lady of Blood Annette Harland. (Who else would be doing something like this?) She's also seeking out those who want tutelage in matters medical and reminds everyone that she is, in fact, a doctor.
- The Lodestone laboratories are still there beneath the keep, a resource available to Providence's citizenry under the right supervision and clearances. Its Keeper, Zayne Harland, is also looking to offer teaching in arcane studies.
- Johan Pavlova, Providence's resident Lord of Beasts, has undertaken a project for the domestication of creatures. Willing and able hands should seek him out if they wish to assist in taming the wilds on behalf of the city's future.
- Providence's military arm, The Hammer, is once again undergoing active recruitment in the wake of reconstruction. Arms, equipment, and training are provided to those loyal to the city. All interested in being an active force for the progression of Providence's people should seek out Hammer members Asphodel and Mumble for enlistment.
- Work is underway in Deliverance's Pillar of Soteria, though what all exactly is being done is not a widely discussed matter.
- An actual hospital has opened up in Providence, much to everyone's surprise from a city that boasts progress and impressive medical research. Fressia Silversword is currently heading this initiative in research, at her words, to 'increase patient survivability'.
