Reasoning:  Having gone underground to retrieve one of their own Shallot and a group of Saiyans coordinate their efforts to free their brethern. Upon reaching the base of Tuffle operations, it becomes abundantly clear that they were being expected, and reinforcements are called in short order. Shallot allows his comrades to toil with the enemy, though most of them are incapable of offering much of a fight, given their lack of strength as of now. However, Shallot takes note of the fact that they've experimented upon Okara, leaving her a sickly gray and looking as if she was nothing but a corpse. Enraged by the sight, Shallot is then assaulted by Alaba's android, whom leaves him bleeding out on the ground within (literal) seconds. Having only been able to witness the horrors they've accomplished upon his beloved kin, Shallot comes to realize that his strength falters entirely against the opposition.

 He's struck a fatal blow, leaving him to be considered dead as it rips through his side and strikes a major artery. Only by sheer luck is he able to survive, barely clinging on to life itself as his soul had nearly entered the state of oblivion.
