The crocodile

Crocodile lying there
Mouth agape
It hisses to itself
Relieving the pressure it has
It wonders what life was
And will be
It must keep swimming if it wants to survive
Hasn’t seen its bask quite some time
So it wanders by itself
Both in mind and body
Anticipating the moment where it will see its bask again
But its mind still wanders about the memories it had
Lying there as a crocodile does
