01[06:34] <Geremy-Tibbles> Toru. You are in your cockpit. Cockpit is on the open cockpit door waving her arms at the two GMs that are now cautiously aproaching you. You feel the ground shaking slightly, harder than when an MS moves.
06[06:35] * Toru_Yamato removes his helmet again and holds his hands up. "So... you are going to vouch for me, right?"
01[06:35] <Geremy-Tibbles> You hear the crashing of trees suddenly a massive MS with treds for legs pushes its way out of the forest. It has two massive cannons on it's shoulders and a plow attached to it's front. It pushes aside the plowed trees like twigs. "Yeah. I at least owe you that."

06[06:36] * Alexander_Garcia zooms in the one with the open cockpit while keeping his beam gun trained on the other one.
01[06:37] <Geremy-Tibbles> You've been given an order to retreat. Your were part of an MS team consisting of 3 GMs a GM Sniper and a Guntak. The tank is low on ammo and you've lost a GM already. You can see Toru and a Federation pilot.
01[06:37] <Geremy-Tibbles> "I'll try, but it's not like I'm an officer or anything."
[06:37] <Alexander_Garcia> He opens up a radio transimission, "What the hell is going on, nobody told me zeeks were surrendering already."
01[06:38] <Geremy-Tibbles> The other GM trains his 90mm marksman rifle on the open cockpit. "Beats me bu-... hey that's Claire!"
[06:39] <Toru_Yamato> "I guess I'll just... man I don't even know how to start to explain my situation..."
01[06:39] <Geremy-Tibbles> The other GM opens his cockpit. "Claire!? What the hell is this?!"
[06:40] <Toru_Yamato> "She almost died and I figured I'd bring her back." Toru answers.
01[06:40] <Geremy-Tibbles> "I didn't ask you, Zeek!"
06[06:41] * Toru_Yamato shrugs.
01[06:41] <Geremy-Tibbles> Claire pushes Toru aside and takes his place in the pilot seat. "I'll explain when we get back to the base, for now let's get out of here. I'll pilot it back."

06[06:43] * Alexander_Garcia signals the other Zaku with his gun to move in front of them, obviously meaning buisness.
01[06:43] <Geremy-Tibbles> Claire adjusts herself in his seat, and then grins. "So I guess you get to swap places for now, huh?"
01[06:44] <Geremy-Tibbles> The other Zaku moves forward, infront of the two GMs. The Guntank is already turned itself around and is waiting on you.
06[06:44] * Toru_Yamato scratches his head. "Well I mean, we don't have to close the door this time so... I don't have to."
01[06:45] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Not if you don't want to get shot."
[06:45] <Alexander_Garcia> "This better be a really good story Claire, considering all that has happened lately."
[06:45] <Toru_Yamato> "I meant I could just stand out here. Unless you're saying you're going to shoot me unless I sit in your lap."
01[06:46] <Geremy-Tibbles> With that she hits the cockpit close door. "I was talking about the other Zeeks, stupid."
[06:46] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh. This makes... more sense." He says as he scrambles back from the door and awkwardly sits down.
01[06:46] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Heh."
01[06:47] <Geremy-Tibbles> She fiddles with the comms for a bit and gets Garcia's frequency. "Alright, all set here."
06[06:47] * Alexander_Garcia makes his way back to the guntank. "Alright lets get moving, we don't know how many zeeks are around here with all the radio interference."
[06:48] <Alexander_Garcia> "You better have a good story for this."
[06:48] <Toru_Yamato> "About three in the opposite direction, and a base somewhere nearby."
[06:48] <Toru_Yamato> "Well, three that I left... there was more of a force that took off that way too." Toru ponders for a moment.
01[06:49] <Geremy-Tibbles> The guntank fires up, replowing it's original path. You move in formation, the GM Sniper moving off to the side with it's truck in tow. "Don't worry about it, Garcia, I got you two Zakus out of it and this guy probably knows *something*."
[06:50] <Alexander_Garcia> "Lets hope so." He says as he scans around for enemies.
01[06:51] <Geremy-Tibbles> Eventually you reach a river without running into any enemies. The guntank stops. On the opposite bank you can see a wall about 30 meters tall, covered in vines and obscured by various folliage.
[06:51] <Toru_Yamato> "Technically I got you these two Zakus..."
01[06:52] <Geremy-Tibbles> Claire gives you a soft punch in the ribs.
[06:52] <Toru_Yamato> "Hey! This is the payback I get for not killing you when you attempted to slice me in half?"
06[06:53] * Alexander_Garcia opens a comm to the base channel," Hey guys, you won't guess what Claire caught...somehow."
01[06:53] <Geremy-Tibbles> She frowns. "I gotta look good otherwise they won't believe me!"
[06:54] <Alexander_Garcia> "A pair of zeeks! Mobile suits and all."
01[06:54] <Geremy-Tibbles> The base pauses for a moment. "Well ho-lee-shit. Ain't that somethin'? Alright, dropping the bridge. We're gonna put hte guns on tracking when they enter, just for precaution."
01[06:55] <Geremy-Tibbles> She whispers to him. "See? They don't take me seriously!"
[06:55] <Alexander_Garcia> "Roger that command."
[06:55] <Toru_Yamato> "So you're going to take all the credit for this? And after I pulled off that amazing shot to try and disable you without adding to any bloodshed. Hmpf."
01[06:55] <Geremy-Tibbles> A pannel on the wall moves slightly, then extends upwards and gently places itself at the feet of the Guntank, which slowly drives across.
[06:55] <Toru_Yamato> "Also, just to let you know, I'm not a space nazi." He turns around and gives her a serious look.
06[06:56] * Alexander_Garcia prods the Zaku with his beam gun.
01[06:56] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Yeah I figured out that much, you're too nice. I never got your name, by the way."
01[06:56] <Geremy-Tibbles> Val's Zaku walks across the bridge.
[06:56] <Alexander_Garcia> And starts following the Guntank.
[06:56] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh, right. Toru Yamato."
06[06:57] * Toru_Yamato pauses. "Does that name sound unusual around here?"
01[06:57] <Geremy-Tibbles> She smiles slightly and then brings the Zaku in behind Garcia's GM, followed by the Sniper and the other GM. "Sorta, I guess..."
[06:58] <Toru_Yamato> "Should I come up with something better? Hm..."
01[06:58] <Geremy-Tibbles> "What?"
[06:59] <Toru_Yamato> "Something that fits in more? Or maybe I shouldn't try to fit in..." Toru ponders off in his own world.
01[06:59] <Geremy-Tibbles> When you enter the base you can see a bunch of tanks lined up. A few of which have been deployed and are trained at the Zakus. Riahs, very small mobile suits, move cargo about. There are a number of large hangers and low buildings populating the base. "Are all Zeeks this weird, or is it just you?"
[07:00] <Toru_Yamato> "I told you, I'm not one of them. Well, not really."
[07:00] <Toru_Yamato> "Not technically."
[07:00] <Toru_Yamato> "... or is it not theoretically?"
01[07:00] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Jesus, just shut up."
[07:00] <Alexander_Garcia> "Alright lets get these Zakus  locked in the Hangars, see what we can get out of them."
[07:01] <Toru_Yamato> "Sorry. I've only been here less than a day. Just a smidge confused."
01[07:01] <Geremy-Tibbles> The GM, Guntank and Sniper move off to a hanger on the left. Claire moves her Zaku in very awkwardly into a repair frame. "Man these things are tight. How the hell do you pilot this?"
[07:01] <Toru_Yamato> "It... came naturally?"
01[07:02] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Must've."
[07:02] <Toru_Yamato> "I used to pilot things using just my mind you know." He points to his noggin.
01[07:02] <Geremy-Tibbles> She powers the Zaku down. Vals takes a spot next to his. "Just your mind? Are you kidding or something?"
[07:02] <Toru_Yamato> "Nope. I've been trying to tell you, I don't really belong here."
01[07:03] <Geremy-Tibbles> The front pops open and she nudges you with her hips to try and get you to move. "Yeah, now get off."
06[07:03] * Toru_Yamato quickly scrambles to his feet. "Right, right, sorry." He says as he makes his way down. "Anyway, speaking of minds, there's been some odd stuff going on with mine ever since I got here..."
01[07:03] <Geremy-Tibbles> She follows him down. "Hm?"
06[07:04] * Alexander_Garcia pops out of the cockpit and runs over to the Zakus, pulling his gun out just in case.
[07:04] <Toru_Yamato> "I'm feeling a lot more perceptive. It's how I was able to blow your head off without even seeing you." He pauses for a moment. "Does that happen often around here with these things?" He points to the mobile suits.
01[07:05] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Garcia, relax. This guy's harmless outside an MS." She snags Toru's gun out of it's holster just in case.
[07:05] <Toru_Yamato> "... I had a gun? Whoops. Should have tossed that away."
01[07:05] <Geremy-Tibbles> She shrugs at the question. "I don't know, maybe it was luck?"
[07:05] <Alexander_Garcia> "Sounds like he belongs in the loony bin if ya ask me."
[07:05] <Toru_Yamato> "Nah. I sensed it. Told you, I didn't want to kill you."
01[07:06] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Whatever."
01[07:07] <Geremy-Tibbles> She uzips her flight suit down to her waist and ties the arms around it. "Fuck it's hot. Alright, I suppose we should do the whole, POW thing?" She says to Garcia.
[07:08] <Alexander_Garcia> "Sure, come on kiddo, time to get you to an interrogation room."
06[07:08] * Toru_Yamato pulls at the collar of his own flight suit, loosening it and zipping it down some. "How does this work anyway? All I know is I had to get away from those... Zeeks you call them?"
06[07:08] * Toru_Yamato nods. "Not entirely sure how much I can tell you..."
[07:10] <Alexander_Garcia> "Come on." He says as he starts pushing him towards the room.
[07:10] <Toru_Yamato> "Coming, coming!" He looks over his shoulder at Claire and gives a bit of a wave. "See you around, maybe."
01[07:12] <Geremy-Tibbles> She walks after them quickly. "Wait!"
06[07:12] * Alexander_Garcia stops and turns around."Yea?"
[07:13] <Toru_Yamato> "Hm?"

01[07:18] <Geremy-Tibbles> Alex, you have a 'brig' of sorts. It's basically just a section of the bunker held off with bars, as per the Antarctic Treaty.
[07:18] <Toru_Yamato> "Well... I woke up today in space. Was told to get into one of these things." He stops to gesture to the Zakus he is walking away from. "And was told I had to go invade Earth. Then I ended up here in Africa."
[07:18] <Toru_Yamato> "That's the short version."
06[07:19] * Alexander_Garcia puts Toru into a cell as he hears him talk.
06[07:19] * Toru_Yamato offers no resistance and takes a moment to glance around at his surroundings. "The long version? It's not much longer."
[07:20] <Alexander_Garcia> "So you don't remember anything? No invasion plans, tactics, drop points?"

01[07:22] <Geremy-Tibbles> Feddies sit on bunks smoking, playing cards. Generally tired looking.
[07:23] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh, my friend in the other Zaku. Be nice to her. She's in the same sort of situation I am."
[07:25] <Alexander_Garcia> "Man, so a push towards South Africa, Command is gonna love this."
[07:26] <Toru_Yamato> "Is there something important there?"
[07:26] <Toru_Yamato> "There aren't... are there people living in that area?"
01[07:29] <Geremy-Tibbles> You hear the bunker door open and Claire walks in with 3 unopened MREs in her hands and bottles of water. She walks twords the holding section.
06[07:30] * Toru_Yamato looks over. "Food?"
01[07:32] <Geremy-Tibbles> She nods and sits next to Garcia, handing him one and a bottle of watter.
[07:34] <Toru_Yamato> "Well, I did eat a little while ago but... I am a bit hungry after all of that. Do... I get one?"
01[07:34] <Geremy-Tibbles> She hands it through the bars sideways along with the water.
[07:35] <Alexander_Garcia> "So, zeeks are looking for one of our bases in africa."
01[07:35] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Well they already found one, right?"
01[07:35] <Geremy-Tibbles> She's referring to this base.
06[07:35] * Toru_Yamato grabs the MRE and the water and fiddles with trying to open it.
[07:36] <Alexander_Garcia> "One of the large ones."
[07:36] <Toru_Yamato> "So do people live between here and South Africa?" He says as he starts to bite the packaging to rip it open.
[07:37] <Alexander_Garcia> "He also seems to have amnesia."
[07:38] <Toru_Yamato> "Something like that." He says as he continues tearing through the packaging. "They really don't make this easy to open... do they?" He comments.
01[07:39] <Geremy-Tibbles> She sighs and motions for him to hand it back. "Alot of people. Also I though it was something like that. I mean, look at him, he can't even open a ration."
06[07:40] * Toru_Yamato hands it back. "Well then we have to stop them, don't we?"
01[07:40] <Geremy-Tibbles> She tears it open easily, takes the food out and hands it back. It doesn't look too apatizing.

06[07:40] * Alexander_Garcia gives toru a strange look.
06[07:40] * Toru_Yamato takes it back. "Thanks." He says as he tries some of the food.
[07:41] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh well um. Don't want to see anyone innocent getting hurt, personally."
01[07:42] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Well yeah..."
[07:42] <Alexander_Garcia> "Anyways I gotta report this to command, they are gonna love this litte lil' piece of information.  Don't worry I'll you the credit for it Claire."  He takes a bite out of the ration and starts heading out the door.
01[07:42] <Geremy-Tibbles> She grins widely and then looks back at him. "So, you really don't remember anything? Like amnesia?"
[07:43] <Alexander_Garcia> "See ya both later."
06[07:43] * Toru_Yamato waves.
[07:43] <Toru_Yamato> "I... It would be easier if I said yes. I don't remember anything happening here before I was up in space being ordered to invade Earth."
[07:44] <Alexander_Garcia> "Don't get too cuddly while I'm gone" He says right before he is out of sight.

01[07:47] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Well, I guess I could... *try* and convince them to let you pilot. You were pretty amazing with that shot."
06[07:48] * Toru_Yamato smiles. "I'd be more than willing. Though, like you said, that could have just been luck." He adjusts his glasses.
01[07:52] <Geremy-Tibbles> She shrugs. "Well, all I know is I'll be off the front for a while because of it. But who knows? They might send me a Custom after this!" She looks practically giddy at the thought.
[07:52] <Toru_Yamato> "Wait, what do you mean?"
01[07:56] <Geremy-Tibbles> "A RGM Dash Seven Nine Dash 2 'Custom'." She lists it off as if from a book. "They give them to aces. Smoother reaction time, lightweight composite armor, forearm compensators, and a whole bunch of cushy pilot options."
[07:56] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh, you mean a new mobile suit. Yeah. I guess yours kinda got... torn apart."
01[08:02] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Yeah, thanks for that."
01[08:02] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Whatever. If I get a GM Custom those Zakus don't stand a chance."
[08:03] <Toru_Yamato> "Hey, at least I didn't kill you! Also... I dunno, those guys are... bloodthirsty."
01[08:04] <Geremy-Tibbles> She looks at the other soliders and then back at you and move's Garcias Chair closer and kicks her feet up. "I guess."
[08:04] <Toru_Yamato> "They sure wanted to kill you. You got lucky at the end there..."
01[08:04] <Geremy-Tibbles> She sighs. "Look, you don't have to remind me, okay?"
01[08:05] <Geremy-Tibbles> She fiddles with the gun she took off you. "If you get a suit, they'll rig it."
[08:05] <Toru_Yamato> "Sorr-Huh, what does that mean?"
01[08:06] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Like with a limpet mine. Probably on the powerplant. It means they'll have you on a leesh."

01[10:03] <Geremy-Tibbles> PRICE you feel yourself waking up in unfamiliar clothing to the sound of muted jet engines somewhere beside you. You are in a uncomfortable chair, behind two pilots seats of a plane of unknown airplane (presumably). Your captain's hat is sort of over your eyes.
06[10:05] * Stuart_Price looks around the scene without moving or giving any sign that he has awoken. He needs to get his bearings before anything else.
01[10:06] <Geremy-Tibbles> There's another seat beside you. It's empty. There's a door behind you and you can see that you're up in the wild blue yonder out the front window.
06[10:07] * Stuart_Price moves slowly and softly, trying to figure out what he is wearing.
01[10:09] <Geremy-Tibbles> It's a tan two piece officer's uniform. The collar is black and red with gold insignias you don't recognize.
01[10:09] <Geremy-Tibbles> There's a captain insignia on them, however, which you do recognize.
01[10:09] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Sleep well sir?" One of the pilots says over the engine noise
06[10:10] * Stuart_Price doesnt bother looking at the pilot. Act normal. "Well enough. Where are we now?"
01[10:11] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Nearly to the Africa 3 landing strip."
01[10:11] <Geremy-Tibbles> "We'll drop you and these mobile suits off and you'll take a truck to Africa 4."
06[10:13] * Stuart_Price suppresses a frown. Africa. Oh Boy.
[10:13] <Stuart_Price> "Good."
01[10:19] <Geremy-Tibbles> The plane ride goes on for a bit. Eventually you make a rough landing. Outside you can see some robots about 8 meters tall carrying crates and equipment to various store houses. "Alright sir, truck should be around to move you to Africa 4. They need you there ASAP."
[10:21] <Stuart_Price> "I'm sure they do." Price comments. He looks the robots up and down. He doesnt like that he doesnt recognize them.
06[10:22] * Stuart_Price gets up an disembarks from the plane, keeping an eye out for this truck that was mentioned.
01[10:22] <Geremy-Tibbles> You can see three robots being moved out of the back. They're at least twice as tall as the smaller ones and much sleeker looking.
01[10:23] <Geremy-Tibbles> Three trucks and a jeep pull up to the plane. The jeep drives up to you. The gentleman driving salutes.
06[10:23] * Stuart_Price salutes back and walks up. "Africa 4?"
01[10:25] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Yes sir, we're headed straight there."
01[10:26] <Geremy-Tibbles> The robots lay down on the trucks and are covered with tarps. One of the men calls to you. "All set!"
[10:26] <Stuart_Price> "Good man." Price climbs into the Jeep.
01[10:27] <Geremy-Tibbles> You take off, passing similar robots. Some different, some the same as the one you saw exit the plane. After a about an hour of driving you eventually make it to what you presume is Africa 4. The back entrance is a 30 meter high wall of steel that drops a gate. You can see the sides of it are somewhat overgrown with folliage and vines
06[10:28] * Stuart_Price takes an oppertune moment to sublty check his pockets for a wallet or anything that might be used as identification.
01[10:29] <Geremy-Tibbles> You have the standard officer identification card on you. It has your name "Captain Stuart Price" and a photo you don't remember taking.
06[10:30] * Stuart_Price takes a moment to feel relived that he is unlikely to be killed for answering to his real name and continues to see if there is anything of note on his person.
01[10:31] <Geremy-Tibbles> A handgun is the only other thing on you.
01[10:31] <Geremy-Tibbles> The trucks and jeep make their way into the base which is populated with tanks, hangars and those smaller robots you saw. You can see there are robots in the hangars but two stand out from the others. They're painted somewhat familiarly.
01[10:33] <Geremy-Tibbles> The man parks the jeep somewhere near one of the barracks'.
06[10:36] * Stuart_Price climbs out of the jeep and looks around. "I don't know the layout of Africa 4 half as well as I should. Where do I report?"

06[10:41] * Stuart_Price heads off to the barracks, taking note of the layout of the base around him as he goes. He might have to make a speedy, or a stealthy, exit.
06[10:43] * Toru_Yamato sits up and rubs his eyes. "Nothing to do but wait."
01[10:44] <Geremy-Tibbles> Claire rolls over in her sleep, almost falling off the bunk.
06[10:45] * Toru_Yamato scratches his head and looks over at Claire before leaning back on the wall and attempting to rest.
01[10:46] <Geremy-Tibbles> Price, when you enter the men look up from what they're doing and quickly stand up, saluting. The comotion is enough that Claire rolls off and onto the floor with a *thud*. Toru, you can see Price.
01[10:46] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Fuck!" you hear the girl call from behind the bed. The other men stifle laughter.
06[10:47] * Toru_Yamato looks at Claire for a moment before seeing Price at the front of the room. "No. Fucking. Way."
06[10:49] * Stuart_Price looks around the room, kis eyes doing and admiral job og hiding his surprise when he sees Toru in a cell at the back. He makes eye contact with Toru for a second and holds it before looking around the rest of the room.
01[10:49] <Geremy-Tibbles> The girl eventually gets to her feet and salutes.
06[10:49] * Toru_Yamato gives an odd, awkward, cheeky wave.
06[10:50] * Toru_Yamato walks up to the door. "Pst, Claire. Do you know who this is?" He questions quietly.
01[10:50] <Geremy-Tibbles> "A fucking captain that's who it is, now shut up." she whispers back as quietly as she can while still saluting.
[10:51] <Toru_Yamato> "So not specifically... Hm." He goes back to sitting down.
06[10:51] * Stuart_Price walks up to one of the nearby men. "You." he summons up his normal bearing of command and levels his gaze at the man like a deadly weapon.
01[10:51] <Geremy-Tibbles> He straightens up. "Sir!"
[10:52] <Stuart_Price> "Where is Staff Sargeant Garcia?"
06[10:52] * Toru_Yamato buries his face in his hands. "Oh god he is the same as ever."
01[10:53] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Out on patrol, sir."
[10:54] <Stuart_Price> "I see." Price growls. "Then perhaps there is something else you can tell me."
01[10:54] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Sir?"
[10:54] <Stuart_Price> "Who is the prisoner?"
01[10:54] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Some Zeon that Pvt. Enzel captured, sr."
01[10:54] <Geremy-Tibbles> *sir
01[10:55] <Geremy-Tibbles> *Unez
[10:55] <Stuart_Price> "Is that so?" Price raises an eyebrow.
06[10:56] * Toru_Yamato wonders if he should speak up, but realizes that might not be the best way to go about things.
06[10:56] * Stuart_Price looks around the room. "And is Pvt. Unez also on patrol?"
01[10:57] <Geremy-Tibbles> He points at the girl near Toru. She looks confused/suprised. She straightens up.
[10:57] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh god." Toru whispers again to Claire. "I know this guy, but he doesn't always have the best opinion of me. Make me sound good if he talks to you."
01[10:58] <Geremy-Tibbles> Claire is sweating, and not from the heat. "S-shit."
[10:58] <Toru_Yamato> "Don't worry, he's a lot of talk."
[10:59] <Toru_Yamato> "... and a little bit of pistol whipping."
06[10:59] * Stuart_Price prowls across the room up to the girl. "Unez?"
01[10:59] <Geremy-Tibbles> That didn't help.
01[10:59] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Y-yes!"
01[10:59] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Sir! I mean yes sir!"
06[10:59] * Stuart_Price leans in slightly closer. Almost imperceptiably, really.
[11:00] <Stuart_Price> "Good work."
06[11:00] * Stuart_Price straightens back up again.
01[11:01] <Geremy-Tibbles> She just stares wide eyed at you.
01[11:01] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Uh... thank you... sir."
01[11:01] <Geremy-Tibbles> She relaxes
[11:02] <Stuart_Price> "Unez. Do we know anything about the prisoner yet?" Price glares past the Pvt. at Toru.
06[11:03] * Toru_Yamato decides to stay quiet for now.
01[11:03] <Geremy-Tibbles> "His name is Toru Yamato and he willingly surrendered to Earth Federation forces along with his wingman, sir."
01[11:03] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Got two Zakus and some information out of it." She looks less scared and more proud now.
[11:04] <Stuart_Price> "Probably the smartest thing he did all day. What of the wingman? Any news on him?"
01[11:04] <Geremy-Tibbles> "She's in the opposite bunker. Not sure of her name."
[11:04] <Toru_Yamato> "Valerie Petrya." Toru gives Price a look.
[11:05] <Toru_Yamato> Petya*
06[11:06] * Stuart_Price raises an eyebrow. "A Russian? I see."
01[11:07] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Huh?"
06[11:07] * Toru_Yamato shrugs. "Perhaps her family was, before the unification of the world."
01[11:08] <Geremy-Tibbles> She looks from Toru to Price.
[11:09] <Stuart_Price> "Is there something you would like to ask, Pvt?"
06[11:09] * Stuart_Price still looks straight at Toru.
01[11:09] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Um... you two know eachother right?"
[11:10] <Stuart_Price> "That is what I'm trying to figure out."
01[11:10] <Geremy-Tibbles> She doesnt' say anything.
[11:11] <Toru_Yamato> "I have... amnesia." Toru goes with the simple explanation he's been using, but gives Price a look that shows this very much so isn't the case.
[11:11] <Stuart_Price> "I see. How unfortunate for you."
[11:12] <Toru_Yamato> "Yes. It's put me in a lot of odd situations where I haven't exactly understood what's going on."
[11:12] <Stuart_Price> "Tell me, Pvt. How thoroughly has the prisoner been interrogated as of yet?"
01[11:13] <Geremy-Tibbles> "We did pretty much all we could. He's got amnesia, wants to defect from the zeeks and hasn't given us any trouble, sir."
[11:14] <Stuart_Price> "No trouble?" Price almost smiles. Almost. "That settles it, then. Despite the similarities, this can't be the young Mr. Yamato I once knew."
01[11:15] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Oh... well... wait what?"
06[11:15] * Toru_Yamato facepalms.
06[11:17] * Stuart_Price doesnt move his head. he just looks at the girl out of the corner of his eye, prompting her to continue.
01[11:17] <Geremy-Tibbles> "..."
01[11:18] <Geremy-Tibbles> "He want's to pilot. I mean, I trust him for what it's worth... sir."
06[11:18] * Toru_Yamato glances around and wishes there weren't so many people present, that would make things much easier.
[11:18] <Toru_Yamato> "Tell him what happened when we fought."
01[11:19] <Geremy-Tibbles> She glares at him.
[11:19] <Stuart_Price> "Yes. Do tell."
01[11:19] <Geremy-Tibbles> Then sighs.
01[11:20] <Geremy-Tibbles> "He, somehow, put a shot dead center on my GM's head through tree cover. Then disabled my unit and got me to surrender. Once I was in his Zaku though he told me he wanted to defect."
[11:20] <Toru_Yamato> "Well I mean, don't be modest."
01[11:20] <Geremy-Tibbles> "..."
[11:21] <Toru_Yamato> "I mean, you 'surrendered' in the sense that you took advantage of my mercy and ended up capturing me."
01[11:21] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Right!"
[11:21] <Toru_Yamato> "And forcing my wingman to come along once you gained control of my Zaku."
[11:21] <Stuart_Price> "How do you think defecting works, Yamato?"
01[11:21] <Geremy-Tibbles> She looks from him to her. "That's the truth. I was just trying to be nice."
[11:22] <Toru_Yamato> "I don't know. I'm not one for war."
[11:23] <Toru_Yamato> "I guess... you could say I woke up on the wrong side."
[11:23] <Stuart_Price> "And yet, from the sound of it, you seem to be quite skilled at it. And you were willing to join us, rather than simply desert."
[11:24] <Toru_Yamato> "I didn't exactly like the people, or their motives."
[11:27] <Stuart_Price> "And what did you disagree with, exactly? God knows I dont disagree with your action, but I just find your motives *riveting*." He manages to make the last word sound vaguely like an insult.
01[11:28] <Geremy-Tibbles> Some of the men have exited the bunker.
[11:29] <Toru_Yamato> "Their philosophy of forcing people off of their homes... mainly Earth in general, their invasion of the planet, and their warpath through Africa. There was a guy named John with me, got caught up in the dogma and took it a little too far."
[11:30] <Stuart_Price> "I see. Its a shame what propaganda can do to impressionable minds."
[11:30] <Stuart_Price> "Pvt."
[11:30] <Toru_Yamato> "I know."
01[11:31] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Sir?"
[11:31] <Stuart_Price> "When can we expect Staff Sargeant Garcia back from his patrol?"
01[11:32] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Proabably twenty minutes or so. Maybe longer."
01[11:32] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Sir, can I ask you a question?"
[11:32] <Stuart_Price> "Proceed."
01[11:33] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Were there any mobile suits with you?"
[11:33] <Stuart_Price> "Yes. Three of them."
06[11:33] * Toru_Yamato sighs a breath of relief that this question didn't end up implicating him somehow.
01[11:33] <Geremy-Tibbles> She smiles wide.
[11:34] <Stuart_Price> "They should still be being unloaded as we speak. Consider yourself dismissed, if you so choose."
01[11:35] <Geremy-Tibbles> She looks at Toru and then Price. "Are we going to let him out? I mean, under watch?"
06[11:35] * Toru_Yamato gives a quizzical look and cocks his head.
06[11:35] * Stuart_Price gives Toru a look. "You say he hasn't given you any trouble?"
01[11:36] <Geremy-Tibbles> "None, sir."
01[11:36] <Geremy-Tibbles> "I mean, aside from killing my MS, but after that nothing."
[11:36] <Stuart_Price> "Do you trust him?"
01[11:37] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Yes, sir. If he were really a zeek he'd be have tried something."
[11:37] <Stuart_Price> "Do you trust him enough to accept the responsibility for the concequences of his actions should he... try something?"
01[11:38] <Geremy-Tibbles> She looks at Toru. "Yes, and he won't."
06[11:38] * Toru_Yamato smiles at Claire.
01[11:39] <Geremy-Tibbles> She holds back hers, due to the captain.
[11:40] <Stuart_Price> "Then I see no reason to object." Price turns to any remaining men in the barracks. "I want two men to serve as guards for this prisoner. Immediately."
06[11:41] * Toru_Yamato sighs. "Fair enough."
01[11:41] <Geremy-Tibbles> Two of them salute and open the cage. "Yes sir. We'll waste him if he tries anything."
[11:42] <Toru_Yamato> "How... hostile of you."
[11:42] <Stuart_Price> "Good man." Price says to the volunteer.
01[11:42] <Geremy-Tibbles> He nods
01[11:43] <Geremy-Tibbles> "Thank you, sir."
06[11:43] * Toru_Yamato walks out and stretches.
[11:43] <Toru_Yamato> "Well, feels like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."
[11:44] <Stuart_Price> "And the right side of the war."
[11:44] <Toru_Yamato> "Well, not at first."
[11:44] <Toru_Yamato> "I guess some people are luckier than others."
01[11:45] <Geremy-Tibbles> "I'm gonna go check out those MS'. See which one's got my name on it."
01[11:45] <Geremy-Tibbles> Claire walks outside to inspect the GMs
[11:45] <Toru_Yamato> "Have fun."
01[11:46] <Geremy-Tibbles> She over her shoulder. "You're not coming? I'm responsible for you afterall."
[11:47] <Toru_Yamato> "Oh. Right. No cage anymore." Toru looks around. "I guess if these two want to follow me." He says as he takes off without waiting for them to answer.
06[11:47] * Stuart_Price makes a vague growl of assent. "Indeed. Lets go with her Yamato. Nice and slow. It would be unfortunate if you spooked someone."
06[11:47] * Stuart_Price looks at the guards meaningfully.
06[11:48] * Toru_Yamato puts his hands up in the air. "Do you prefer me to walk around like this?"
01[11:48] <Geremy-Tibbles> The men walk with him outside.
[11:48] <Stuart_Price> "What a wonderful idea. I'm glad you suggested it. Please, do continue."
[11:49] <Toru_Yamato> "While we're at it, could I get some new clothes sometime? Might spook people out to see someone walking around in this." He references his enemy flight suit.
[11:49] <Toru_Yamato> "... I wasn't being serious."
[11:49] <Stuart_Price> "And yet I was."
[11:49] <Toru_Yamato> "Believe me, I know."
[11:51] <Toru_Yamato> "Anyway, mobile suits, clothes, right."
01[11:53] <Geremy-Tibbles> When you walk outside you can see 3 MS'. All three are white and grey. Claire looks disapointed.
[11:53] <Toru_Yamato> "What's wrong?"
06[11:53] * Toru_Yamato still has his arms up in the air, awkwardly.
01[11:54] <Geremy-Tibbles> "These aren't customs..."
[11:55] <Toru_Yamato> "I thought you said only aces got those."
[11:56] <Toru_Yamato> "Do you guys have any aces around here?" He looks about
01[11:56] <Geremy-Tibbles> She glares at you, and then walks off.
06[11:57] * Toru_Yamato looks around at the two guards and Price. "Did I say something wrong?"
[11:57] <Stuart_Price> "Yes. But I knew a man who would have said far worse."
01[11:58] <Geremy-Tibbles> You hear her shout "Dick!" The guards laugh.
[11:58] <Toru_Yamato> "... I really don't know what I did wrong." He is still holding his hands up in the air and looking around confused.
[11:58] <Stuart_Price> "I think thats enough leg stretching for now. lets put you back in the cage while I do what i can to find you clothes more appropriate to your new allegiences."
01[11:59] <Geremy-Tibbles> AND SO TORU WAS CAGED, CLOTHED, AND PRICE GOT A NICE AC'D ROOM. AND THAT, FOR NOW, WAS THE END OF THAT
