Azibeth: Retired Warrior Notes

Personality: Azibeth as a person is one of the most genuinely kind and caring people you could ever meet, always ready with a hug and generally very supporting of anyone she considers a friend. She always has a compliment for anyone she meets and she's also very boisterous, enjoying companionship, drinking, and bonding with her fellow comrades. Despite this she does seem to...harbor her own sadness that she doesn't like to talk about and can some days seem to just not be herself, seeming rather down and depressed. Despite this she tries to keep a positive attitude and doesn't try to let her own sadness get others down. Above all else, she's passionate, kind, and generally tries to be a good person to be around. She's not entirely gullible but being very emotional and passionate and having a true heroic stance on things, she will generally come to anyone's aid if they need help, this has led to her getting burned a few times and learning to guard her trust somewhat well. She has huge self-worth issues and thinks she's not very attractive due to past issues.

Backstory: She won't really reveal much else but what is relevant is that she used to be a traveling warrior and mercenary for hire, helping people wherever she needed it and working for hire for anyone who had the coin. She would always come back home to her village however at the end of her journeys to laugh and drink with her comrades as she regaled them with tales of her adventures. One day however she came back to find her...village had been attacked by bandits, she was skilled and fought off many of them but their leader...managed to slice off her right arm, even though she was bleeding and dying where she stood she fought on, managing to kill their leader and drive them off...many of her friends had died during these events and she considered herself a failure for not being there to protect them. After getting patched up by the local doctor she isolated herself in the mountains to repent and drown in her sorrow, over time she managed to at least partially forgive herself and become the person she once was again, although she still holds that sadness in her heart.
