  1. The bounded fields of your house are strong, and anybody attempting to force their way in is in for a nasty, and potentially quite lethal surprise. The core of the defense is a bounded field that reacts to the Od of whoever is trying to break through. To a person with absolutely no ability to produce magical energy and thus no magic circuits, they will fall terribly ill. Not dangerously ill, though. Just ill enough that they wouldn't dare continue trying to break into your home. However, it reacts quite differently should somebody with the capability to use magecraft attack. You designed your bounded fields in such a way that the greater your magical energy, the more damage you take upon trying to force your way through them! Of course, you had wanted to replicate the Bounded Field around the temple, but such a project would've taken months that you didn't feel like spending. Especially given that you had no idea how dangerous this war would turn out to be.
