  1. COMMAND BRIEFING
  2.
  3. Salutations, Executor! $b{ Praetor Tyrrak $} just relayed to me the good news. I am pleased to hear that you will join us for this campaign. Your new command awaits your arrival. Once you are aboard, we will immediately depart for the front lines.
  4. This latest batch of barbarians are not noticeably more technologically advanced than the last, but they are certainly tenacious and do not seem inclined to give up without a fight. Our scout flotilla savaged their initial probe during first contact. I do not anticipate this operation will be anything more than a mop up.
  5. As Prime Flight Controller of a fleet flagship, you will be subject to the thickest fighting. The fleet's primary directive is to pacify these savages before they can do any real harm to the Empire. Immediately following, we are to secure their systems' resources for our fabricators. I am told we have no real interest in the species itself, but are instead much more interested in their rich asteroid belts. Fortunately enough, they have yet been unable to deplete these reserves, most likely due to the short period of their space-faring capability.
  6. At this very moment, they control three systems in addition to their home system, and their total fleet strength is estimated as roughly a dozen capital ships and no more than five hundred strikecraft. By all accounts, this vanguard alone should more than suffice to flatten their military capabilities, and that is exactly what we will accomplish. Within a fortnight, $h Beyern, $h Treips, $h Swiirok, and $h Woutin will be under our control.
  7. Our fleet will systematically eliminate any extraterrestrial presence of these barbarians. Once we have achieved local superiority, the dreadnought $f{ Unstoppable Oblivion $} will bombard from orbit any locations with significant interstellar production capabilities. The planets themselves, while not poor in resources, pale in comparison to the asteroid belts, and our strategy will reflect such. Any attempt at uprising will be met with total extermination.
  8. We will enter the node within minutes of your shuttle's arrival. May your actions bring glory to yourself and to the Empire, Executor.

  12. BRIEFING
  13.
  14. An honor to meet you in person, Executor. We have just entered subspace and will soon be arriving in $h Aloran space. The $h Beyern system is the farthest from their homeworld, but also where the bulk of their fleet can be found. No doubt they hope to slow us down while they bring forward reinforcements; there can be equally no doubt that they will fail.
  15. The $f{ Inexorable Fate $} will deploy strikecraft from the moment we enter the system. Once we have ascertained the disposition of the $h Aloran fleet, we will use our $V{ Flash drives $} to immediately reposition our screening elements to catch them unawares. Your pilots will jump along to support them.
  16. The flagship and your own command squadron will move straight to the subspace node leading to the $h Treips system. We shall obliterate their blockade, regroup with our screening elements, and proceed immediately through the node. Leave no ship functional along your path. Let the $h Alorans have no doubt that this avalanche shall engulf them as swiftly as we pacified the $v Toralli.
