RAMEN: the last few letters of her first name are "ram" so her brother jimin came up with the nickname ramen. boram only allows family to call her this nickname and if anyone else does then she'll become very uncomfortable and tell them to stop. this is all because she feels very close to her family, and only wants this to be for them.

LUCIFER: 1. because she has fire 2. because she has similar qualities to satan. she can be very manipulative, she's aggressive, but she's very pretty. kind of like how lucifer was apparently very beautiful to look at, but very deadly on the inside.

CARELESS:
she doesn't care about the repercussions for anything. when she does something, especially if it's stupid, she will confess to it with no regrets. the things that she does have no backbone to her. as long as it's going keep her entertained, she'll do anything.

CHARMING:
how do you think she's able to have so many friends with her normally bitchy personality? she's able to charm the pants off of anyone even if you try your best to resist. she has the ability to make anyone bend to her ways of thinking just by letting some simple words slip off her tongue.

COMPLEX:
on the outside, boram can seem like a horrible, troublemaker with no aspiration in life, but she's actually much more than that. she's like an onion, she has many layers to her that you must unravel to get to the true boram which she hides from the outside world. she's not a bitch. she's no lover, but she can be very friendly if she's close with you. it's all due to her massive trust issues that she must put aside to have a real relationship with you.


NONCONFORMIST:
in korea, it's very unattractive for woman to be defiant, but as you can see boram isn't like other girls. at all. she finds conforming to fit someone else's standards of what you should be to be the dumbest thing in human existence. boram tries her absolute best to break away from the standards that people try to press onto her and will go to some pretty stupid measures to avoid being like people.

SNEAKY:
she's able to get in and out of places very quickly and with little suspicion from others. this character trait also carries into her friendship life. she can keep a secret like nobodies business, but cross her and she will beat the actual shit out of you and spill all of your tea.

OVER-PROTECTIVE:
if you are her friend, just know that she will never let you get into a bad or dangerous situation. she'll easily put herself into one, but she tries her best to make sure the important people in her life are happy and healthy.

QUICK TEMPERED:
she can, and will, fight you. even if it's over something extraordinarily idiotic. her patience is very small and she can pop off very easy, especially if you say anything about her family in a negative tone. or just talk about her family when no one asked you to. things easily set her off, so it's best to not try her.

ADVENTUROUS:

just when you think she's going to do something, she surprises you and does the complete opposite. you can never assume what boram is going to do because guaranteed she will do the exact opposite.

JEJU, SOUTH KOREA:

lim boram, born as evelyn lim, was birthed into a family of her mother giovanna, her father yunhyeong, and her older brother jimin. her name evelyn was chosen was by her older brother who had fallen in love with the name when one of the characters on an american tv show that he watched was named evelyn. he practically begged his parents to name her his suggestion as they only wanted to give her korean name. eventually they gave in and when little boram came around, they gave her two names. both boram and evelyn. boram was born on a rather rainy day which says a lot about who she was going to become latter on down the road. as baby, boram was rather quiet and this sometimes startled her parents as she could go full nights without even making a single peep.

years flew by, and soon enough boram was an elementary student. she never really fit into a group of friends and was always the odd man out in her class. her communication skills were below average so she often spent time with her brothers small group of friends who were eight years older than her after school (and even they would push her out), and she was constantly taunted for being so quiet. this was the set off that sent boram on a spiral into her horrible school behavior. she was often malicious towards the other students, threatening them when they would make their sour comments at her. boram grew an ice heart for most people and refused to be cordial to them in any situation. her family, and few friends she was able to make on the other hand, were very close to boram's heart and she would never let anything happen to them.

her parents coaxed her into the idea of home schooling in attempt to stop the bubbling hatred for school that was begging to be let out, but that just didn't work. eventually, her fathers job was pushing them towards the city life of south korea and the lim family found themselves in the situation of moving.

the lim family packed up and moved to south korea a few months before boram's ninth grade year started [see the 'school records' section to see what went on in her ninth grade year]. her brother went off to seoul national university and boram's life went on.

ENGLISH: her mother is a white woman who raised her children up in south korea, but wanted them to know about her culture as well. teaching boram english took much longer than her brother as it takes boram a little while longer to comprehend certain things. and learning a language, even though it was simplified by her own mother, was probably the hardest thing for boram to do in her entire life. in the end, she learned, but it took her many years.

KOREAN: she grew up speaking the language. everyone around her always spoke it so naturally she spoke it as well.

[ 6-7th grade ]

FIRST DETENTION: she was given her first detention after she punched a classmate in the face for calling her a "pathetic, white bitch" after the school mate had found out about her mothers racial decent.

SECOND DETENTION: her second detention was all due to her cutting class so much to go hang out with her friends. this "second detention" actually turned into a week of detention when she didn't even show up to this detention.

FIRST SUSPENSION: she was suspended for calling her social studies teacher a fat bitch, a slut and other demeaning terms after this teacher made a "snarky comment" (as boram says) about her outfit.

THIRD DETENTION: though she was given a week of detention as seen in the second detention, this is titled the third detention because it was for a completely separate situation. boram was given her third detention because she allegedly stole another students boyfriend, to which boram threatened to burn the girl who started the rumor. along with the burning comment, boram threatened to do many other things to the student and her friends if she blabbed.

EXPULSION: lim boram was expelled from jeju secondary academy after she was caught in a physical altercation with the same student who's boyfriend she stole.

FIRST DETENTION: boram found this detention to be the stupidest as all she was doing was talking in class.

SECOND DETENTION: she was gifted with her second detention after she verbally abused a teacher who she overheard gossiping with another teacher about her mother. boram claims that she heard the teachers calling her mother demeaning names and making fun of her skin color, and she felt the need to defend her mother.

EXPULSION: boram was ultimately expelled from the school when she lit the girls bathroom on fire. boram claims it was an accident as herself and another girl were "playing with a lighter", but we all know the real truth.

FIRST DETENTION: who would've guessed it, boram verbally abused a male teacher. she did this because the teacher refused to let boram go to the ladies room when boram started her period.

SECOND DETENTION: she skipped one to many days of school.

THIRD DETENTION: boram received another detention because she slammed two girls into a locker when they commented on her appearance. boram says her reason to quick anger was because they were acting above her, and quote "someone needed to put them into their place."

SUSPENSION: she was suspended when another female student told the principal that she had seen the fifteen year old in the girls bathroom with a male. though they had no real proof beside the student at first, the male came out saying that he and boram were "doing things in the washroom" and they both were suspended after that.

FOURTH DETENTION: boram had been dress coded to many times.

EXPULSION: boram was expelled from the school when she slapped a male teacher. boram claims that the teacher had said sexual remarks about her behind, but the teacher claimed that he had told her to get out of the classroom and she didn't. the school board believed the male teacher based on her past record, and she was expelled the next day.

boram was then homeschooled for the remainder of her 10th grade year. she switched to the school she was kicked out of in the beginning of the story, to which she was kicked out of that one as well.

━ how he acts around her:

yoongi didn't know how to act around someone like her. min yoongi isn't the most sane guy, he knows that, but boram was a whole other level of crazy. she was reckless, and she made it look so good and appealing. to yoongi, boram was like heroine. you know you shouldn't do heroine, but sometimes, heroine looks really fucking good. that's what boram is like to him. boram is usually the one carrying the conversation, while yoongi just follows along and stares at her sometimes. he wouldn't say he gets flustered, but he does get extremely red in the cheeks when she compliments him or looks at him for to long. he's like a little puppy for her, slightly whipped, but oh so intrigued.

━ how she acts around him:

she tries WAY to hard to be cool around him. and she knows that. yoongi is basically known in the school for his bad boy nature and "i don't give a fuck" exterior, so when boram met him, she was extremely surprised to find that he didn't really act like that. he was actually surprisingly nice to her. she was shocked by this, and felt as if she was being fooled. so she acted like she didn't give a fuck that he was there, playing hard to get and trying to make as little contact as possible. it took her a long time to finally let her own guards down and let herself get immersed into him, but when she did, she was happy to find that it wasn't all an act.
