Товарищи депутаты! Ввиду исчерпывающей ясности и последовательности внешней политики Правительства Союза Советских Социалистических Республик я вношу следующие предложения:
1. Прений по докладу ПредседателяСовета Народных Комиссаров Союза Советских Социалистических Республик и Народного Комиссара Иностранных дел т. В. М. Молотова не открывать.
2. По докладу т. Молотова принять следующее решение:
«Верховный Совет Союза Советских Социалистических Республик, заслушав доклад Председателя Совета Народных Комиссаров СССР и Народного Комиссара Иностранных дел т. Молотова Вячеслава Михайловича о внешней политике Правительства постановляет: Одобрить внешнюю политику Правительства». (Бурные, продолжительные аплодисменты.)

Председательствующий. Кто из депутатов желает высказаться по предложениям, внесенным депутатом Щербаковым? Желающих нет. Будем голосовать.
Прежде всего подлежит голосованию предложение депутата Щербакова о том, чтобы прений по докладу не открывать. Голосую. Голосуют депутаты обеих палат. Кто за принятие этого предложения, прошу поднять руки... Прошу опустить. Кто против? Нет. Кто воздерживается? Нет. Предложение принимается.

Comrade deputies! In view of the comprehensive clarity and consistency of the foreign policy of the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, I make the following proposals:
1. The debate on the report of the Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Comrade V. M. Molotov, shall not be opened.
2. Based on the report of Comrade Molotov, make the following decision:
“The Supreme Council of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, having heard the report of the Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR and the People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Comrade Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Molotov, on the foreign policy of the Government, decides: To approve the foreign policy of the Government.” (Stormy, prolonged applause.)
