  1. [20:29] The poison seemed worse, worse, and worse. The longer he traveled through the island. The more battle's he'd fought the worse it became. Seneval's bite simply wasn't giving him anything to work with when it came to energy.
  2.
  3. Yet, the sounds of a massive battle caused him to quicken his pace. Running on slightly unsteady legs to close the gap between himself and the battlefield. Stopping as he looked into the fray.
  4.
  5. Those slits of violet finally settled upon someone they recognized from Moonfall. With a flap of his mighty wings the gap was closed and he stopped but a handful of yards from the witch.
  6.
  7. A mithril sword, cheaply made, and bent at the center was raised and pointed in their direction. "If you would kindly surrender ma'am! It will make things a lot easier for me!"
  8. (Seneca)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [20:34] Lemuria, naturally, was attempting to sneak around, but it didn't go as planned. She turned around towards Seneca, a smile on her face that could only be described as awkward, and politely waved at him.
  12.
  13. "Define 'surrender'."
  14.
  15. To a degree, she was just being a smartass. She damn well knew what it meant.
  16. (Lemuria Augustus)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [20:38] "Drop your weapons, come quietly. Those sorts of things."
  20.
  21. The drakanite answered evenly, though it was clear by the slight strain in there voice and the damage evident on there frame they'd been fighting for a long time already. With a deep breath he'd pull his sword back and then lean forwards.
  22.
  23. "Though, you knew that so. Here's the deal ma'am. Drop your staff before I get to you and I won't strike. Please." With that those wings spread widely behind him and with a great flush he launched forwards.
  24.
  25. Those violet hues trained upon the witch as the yards shrunk to feet.
  26. (Seneca)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [20:43] Lemuria dropped the staff, appearing to surrender, but when Seneca approached, she caught it mid-air. With a swing, occult mana erupted from around her, engulfing the area and giving her time to jump back, creating distance between the two of them. An overly-dramatic and possibly pointless gesture given she intended on fighting anyway, but...
  30.
  31. "I am afraid I cannot do that!"
  32.
  33. ...Lemuria loved her theatrics.
  34.
  35. So much so that she created distance between the two of them, solely so she could give a short monologue. After that, though, she'd fight as normal. She wanted to ham it up some more, but...
  36.
  37. "So come, my friend! Let us do battle to the bitter end!"
  38.
  39. ...she wasn't given as much material to work with as she was with her last opponent.
  40. (Lemuria Augustus)
  41. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  42.
  43. [20:50] ** Lemuria Augustus has inflicted an injury upon Seneca. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  44. [20:56] Once more, her adrenaline surged. Almost every attack she launched was punctuated by a giggle, and she had a massive smile on her face the whole time. She was an addict, newly introduced to her drug of choice. But something became clear, here: She always hid under everyone's noses, opting to not fight unless necessary, blend in, and present herself as weak. But today made one thing clear to her:
  45.
  46. She was a predator masquerading as prey.
  47.
  48. Her attacks were as vicious as they were enthusiastic, shedding blood without a care in the world. And, like last time, she stopped in the middle of the arena when Seneca was at his lowest point, causing an injury of the mind rather than body:
  49.
  50. An immense fear of his own shadow.
  51.
  52. ...aaaannnnd hello everyone.
  53. (Lemuria Augustus)
  54. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  57. [20:59] The battle was fearsome, he was bleeding, poisoned, fatigued and yet even still it was close. Even as he foguth he could tell the woman was having a time of it. An adrenaline junky, well that was what kept most in the fray.
  58.
  59. He felt the wreathing curse and perhaps was thankful it was only the fear of his shadow he felt warping into his mind. There was so many worse things a witch could curse one with. So, as the battle ended.
  60.
  61. Those great wings strethed out, taking a great flap downwards and lifting the drakanite out of the battle. Wasting little time in gaining an escape.
  62. (Seneca)
