  4. This power allows the thaumaturge to read the resonance of powers cast around them.

  6. System: The thaumaturge must first sense the use of a power around their area with a successful Perception + Awareness roll (difficulty 7), then they spend a Blood Point and roll their Willpower against difficulty 4.

  8. 1 Success: Sensing the power's "vibe" vaguely.
  9. 2 Successes: Sensing the power's "vibe".
  10. 3 Successes: Sensing the power's resonance.

  14. Countermagic ••:
  15. This power allows the thaumaturge to counter a power that is being used anywhere in their eyeshot.

  17. System: The thaumaturge must first detect the pull of reality threads around them with a successful Perception + Awareness roll (difficulty 7). Upon succeeding the thaumaturge can spend a Blood Point and roll their Willpower against difficulty 5. The victim's successes will be lowered by the amount of half the successes scored on this roll (rounded up).

  21. Stiffen Magic •••:
  22. This power allows the thaumaturge to stiffen the use of one's supernatural powers.

  24. System: The thaumaturge must first gain some sort of familiarty with the power in question, which could be easily achieved with Sense Magic •. Then, a Blood Point has to be spent and Willpower roll (difficulty 6) must be made.
