-Wily's first move toward you from across the screen adds about 21 frames to whatever pattern he gives. Having to move farther than a scripted oscillation (e.g. across the spikes) seems to add to the length of the cycle as well.

-A "5" pattern is actually 4.5, and he changes direction after doing one. This makes a 7 the longest cycle by almost 2 seconds.
