+cabadejo __ Any duration you decide upon can be dismissed as "arbitrary" that is beyond the "accepted maximum for zero-gravity flight". But there are problems with that.

For example - if it is agreed that "40 seconds of genuine micro/zero-gravity is impossible without being in a permanent micro/zero-gravity environment" then a video from the "ISS" showing "41 seconds" should be "proof of the ISS being real and manned".

*But if we were only ever presented with 41 second clips then we would all be rightfully suspicious!* Why? Because if it is a permanent micro/zero-gravity environment then we ought to be able to see 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 1 hour and beyond.

As I say - there are good reasons for "10 minutes" (even though it seems arbitrary). I have explained this in the past and I'll try to find the relevant post.

I can quickly add to the above that a reason for "10 minutes" is because no one in the audience really knows how long it could conceivably be faked for.

Since it is possible to slow down footage (i.e., have the "astronauts" speaking very fast and moving very fast - so that it can be slowed down to appear "normal speed" thus extending the duration) we cannot accept "41 seconds" as sufficient proof.

Maybe they can fake a full minute (in which case slowing it down may get 1.5 minutes). Maybe they can fake a full five minutes (in which case slowing it down may get 8 minutes).

We don't know - so we need a "minimum" that is reasonable yet is "adequately long". *Observation has shown that there are no "ISS" videos where 10 minutes elapses without a glitch, cut, edit or pan*. Therefore "something under 10 minutes" would appear to be the "limit".

Without ever needing to "hack into an email server" and finding the memo that says "a glitch/cut must be present at least every 10 minutes" we have found an apparent "limit". (I am joking - no such thing would exist).

Through *repeated observation* and *testing of that observation* [looking for perfection but finding only imperfection] we have found a "boundary" - a kind of "rule" - without ever seeing it written down.

You talk about a "scientific investigation" - I don't know how for us in the audience it could be any more scientific! *Out of the thousands of "ISS" videos released to the public there are none that appear to be a mere 10 minutes that upon scrutiny remain free from glitches, cuts, edits and pans*.

I began talking about it *because of* my investigation into the "ISS" and not just some random starting point plucked out of thin air.

If the "ISS" is real and manned AND/OR IF we are NOT being given intentionally crippled footage *then we have a reasonable expectation of seeing more than 10 minutes without glitches, cuts, edits and pans*.

We don't have a reasonable expectation of only seeing 41 second clips. We have a reasonable expectation of seeing SUSTAINED DURATION footage that remains FREE FROM glitches, cuts, edits and pans. That means an hour or more but we are only asking for 10 minutes (so as to emphasise the point that it MUST be intentional).
