When a man (Robbins) believes he has discovered that his wife is having an affair with his boss, it sets off a chain reaction of events. First he wanders into a ghetto where a robber (Lawrence) tries to take his money at gunpoint, but instead sets a wild ride from California to Arizona. The two eventually become reluctant friends. Discussing robbery techniques, they decide to get back at the boss by robbing an office safe containing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Life is further complicated by another pair of robbers who chase the first two for infringing on their territory.
Nothing To Lose is a great comedy with the team-up of Martin Lawrence (Bad Boys) and Tim Robbins (Eric The Viking). Funny from the begging scene with Nick Beam (Robbins) and his wife to the ending where the hillbilly gets an envelope addressed full of cash after the credits. Parts to look for are when Nick reveals his gunshot wound and when the pair have the confrontation in the alley near the end with the two hillbilly robbers `I'm Married, Ka-Blam'. The only thing wrong with this movie is that it ends too quickly, not only is it funny but it is also heart-warming, for example the scene where T. (Lawrence) gives Nick the bag back so that he can get his life back and Lawrence says `you forget Nick, I get my life back too,'. This movie deserves a perfect rating.
I thought this movie was so good!!!  Robbins and Lawrence were spectacular together!  I like the beginning when you think that he is going to leave his wife, but they are just playing around.  As much as I liked this movie, there is still one thing that bothers me, where did the spider come from when they are in the car?  Anyway, this was an exceptional movie with an exceptional cast and exceptional plot!!!!!  My vote:  9 out of 10.
