- If cheating takes place at elite levels, in _every_ activity, then chess is no exception.
- There are few activities/games where it is easier and more possible to cheat than in chess; where our imagination must absolutely fill in the blanks to believe that what we're seeing is _at all times_ the honest effort of a gentleman sitting at a table.
- No one should ever trust "David Blaine" at a game of chess, and the only reason the population trusts "Gary Kasparov" is because he is recognised as a "professional chess player" and not a "professional magician". _Even though the uniforms are eerily similar!_
- If someone uses drugs to cheat at 100m sprinting, they still have to sprint 100m faster than everyone else. But practically _anyone_ can cheat at chess with just _basic_ equipment.
- I'm not suggesting that Mr Kasparov ever cheated, but more than any other "professional sport" we are forced to trust that he didn't, and that's what makes "chess" the official game of the lie system!
