  1. 11) Jhin remained silent for the time being, though his eyes notably widened by the higher tier of exchanges between the varying parties. He struggles to keep up with the abrupt surge of violence taking place, though his hand does fasten itself upon the hilt of his blade. Naturally, he's a bit on edge when he was barely keeping track of the occurences.
  2.
  3. 12) His mana is called upon out of habit, though he visibly winces as a shuddering aura briefly surrounds a portion of his body. A sickly purple miasma dissipates as fast it comes, the back-lash of failing to properly utilize the mana leaving him seething in pain. Despite this, he attempts to keep his latest problem to himself. Their travels ought to enable him to have ample amounts of time to repair the gate wholly.
  4.
  5. 13) His hands clasp together gently once talking resumes, feeling safe enough to attempt to gather his energies and work on mending the spiritual wounds he acquired. Through the ashes of his old gate, a new one would inevitably be forged by the flames that now remained within the center of his very being.
  6.
  7. 14) Jhin shifts back shortly after, only to clasp his hands together once more. With his head slightly bowed, tinges of dark mana would cling to portions of his body. It was notably incomplete in its attempts to shroud around him entirely, but it was progressively growing. From gentle, fading wisps of spiritual energy, it had began to gather in greater density as he aimed to restore the gate-way that resides within him.
  8.
  9. 15) Unlocking it the first time required an understanding of mana, and the concept of disregarding morality outright. He had come since learned how to overcome such 'barriers' as he had grown older, doing what he felt was right. Jhin falls deeper within himself, tirelessly working upon reviving the gate that had been re-purposed in its entirety. The ashes had been laid out, but the time to restore it was coming upon him.
  10.
  11. 16) This new gate would be wrought from the flames that Naraku had set within his very soul. That of which burned with a calm anger, leaving him to focus upon the negative swarm of thoughts that slipped throughout his mind. His facial expression notably shifts into that of displeasure, as a recollection of his progress thus far was burdensome. For now, he would forge his spirit in these demonic flames, and reinforce his resolve to grow stronger. The flames fed his ideals, and he was making progress.
  12.
  13. 17) The talks of 'light' and 'dark' were superficial to Jhin, though they also serve as a means of remembering who he was. Just because he was in touch with darkened mana did not mean he had to behave any other way than himself. Those with 'light' had committed far more heinous acts than many he's come across. To rememeber to stay true to himself was a foundation that could not be ignored. It was these moments of introspective that gave way to progress.
