[2014-04-11 16:23:51] * GreatAndPowerfulGM It was hardly an issue to find the town hall for the young mare, all it took really was a quick query for directions from the bank attendant after her first stop in town. After that the real challenge staretd working her way through a small mountain of red tape.
  7. [2014-04-11 16:25:09] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Luckily a life serving as an amature secretary for her fathers work aided her here well as she cut through the bureaucracy, using every bit of her charm availible and greasing a few hooves to get the process going.
  8. [2014-04-11 16:26:10] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Before to long she was able to exit the town hall with the document she required, a copy of the one now listed in the city records. Smiling the young mare slid the Deed into her saddle bags before returning to the streets.

  13. [2014-04-11 16:29:14] * Heartmend works on a few rooms to set up shop as best as she can, she may have to get a crew of unicorns to really clean it up
  14. [2014-04-11 16:29:27] * Thomas_OMalley checks on the rafters underneath the area where the greenhouse will be set up. No sense having the roof collapse...
  15. [2014-04-11 16:30:01] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Getting on in the evening There were still a few ponies fishing not to far away on other docks, further into the city she could hear enough street trafic to suggest numerous ponies to question.

  17. [2014-04-11 16:31:37] * Midnight_Bliss looking back and forth she decided to ask the closer fishing ponies. Working the docks they likely had overheard a number of topics "Excuse me sirs" the Pegasi started as she approached "I am...new to this are. I seek information on a group called the Recolmaters"
  18. [2014-04-11 16:31:49] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The interiour rooms are a mess but thankfully there is a large enough waste bin to dump trash in along with a broom and dust bin from downstairs, the house would need a good bit of work but was supprisingly roomy and spacious.

  20. [2014-04-11 16:33:13] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the roof is easily accessed and full of little bits of garbage to be removed, the cracked and broken clay flower pots rest waiting to have life breathed back into those that could still hold soil.

  22. [2014-04-11 16:36:26] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the fishing ponys look up, a yonger one noding, "Sure thing missy, you talking about the Reclamators, you can see a whole mess of them out that way most days but they probably already pulled there ships in by now. Not worth the caps to dive at night", he points to the tops of the buildings sticking out of the bay.

  24. [2014-04-11 16:37:41] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Flora finds that half of the pots are still useable, six in all, the only thing left living in them a sickly looking fugus.

  26. [2014-04-11 16:38:28] * Flora_Bloom blinks for a moment and tries to examine the fungus
  27. [2014-04-11 16:39:05] * GreatAndPowerfulGM A humming comes from the front door as Textbook steps back inside, setting her bags asside she magics out a small envelope of papers and looks for Sunshine
  28. [2014-04-11 16:40:09] * Thomas_OMalley smiles at the beams. "Ah... good, solid construction. Looks like dis won't need any reinforcement." The batpony heads up to the roof. "Alright, were de materials at?"
  29. [2014-04-11 16:40:12] * Sunshine closes the book. "Textbook! It looks like you have been busy lately." She trots to her.
  30. [2014-04-11 16:40:39] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the fisher ponys nod, the same young one speaking for the group again, "Thats right miss, best at there job they are. Work off of an off shore platform way out that a'way. They play at being a big player but they are to disorganized for that really, more of a loose collection of ponies with nothing better to do than rake the bottom of the river looking for rusty treasures"
  31. [2014-04-11 16:41:49] * Heartmend as her work goes a long, she makes a check list of the things that would best make her clinic work "An examination table, maybe an X-ray machine if i can get a hoof of one at least a refrigerator to keep some things in." she says to herself as she works
  32. [2014-04-11 16:42:07] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the Fungus is a non toxic one that is very common along the river, not tastey but it would do in a pinch.
  33. [2014-04-11 16:42:28] * Flora_Bloom points to her bag of supplies she picked up
  34. [2014-04-11 16:42:50] * Midnight_Bliss rubs her chin in thought "Do you know where their platform lies? or how to contact them?" she asked
  35. [2014-04-11 16:42:59] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Textbook nods, "I have indeed, had to stop by the bank to withdraw some funds before seeing the ponies at city hall, could have used your help actually but I was in such a rush I just substituted some charm for a few stray caps"
  36. [2014-04-11 16:43:25] * Thomas_OMalley gets the materials out of the bag and starts to work, making very sure this greenhouse is built on the support beams.
  37. [2014-04-11 16:44:25] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The fisher pony shrugs, "never been out of this city myself, sure you could have a local show you the way if you like though I dont think they let many ponies on the platform without buisness there of some sort"
  38. [2014-04-11 16:46:30] * Midnight_Bliss looks out over the water again "Do you know where I can procure such a guide?"
  39. [2014-04-11 16:48:43] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the fisher pony shrugs again, "Not personaly myself bu-", the older pony next to the other gives him a poke as a grin rises on his muzzle. "hey now, what about Posh?", the first blinks, "Who, wait... you mean the old gas bag? Sure he knows the Missipony river like the back of his hoof but... I dont know"
  40. [2014-04-11 16:49:27] <Sunshine> "Oh, such enthusiasm. But you shouldn't have to worry with these little details when you could be doing what actually matters. We will probably need Thomas here to help with the plans, I'll look for him." Sunshine goes after Thomas.
  41. [2014-04-11 16:49:48] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the supplies for the green house are all on hoof, with plenty of scarfolding and tinted plates found under a few sheets of cardbord on the roof.
  42. [2014-04-11 16:51:28] * Midnight_Bliss looks abck and forth between the two and raises a brow "Who is this 'Posh' and how can I find them?"
  43. [2014-04-11 16:51:28] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Textbook nods as she opens the folder in her magic glow and reads it over, "Right, just see where they are and ask them to see me when they arnt to busy. Ill just be down here.... trying to find a sofa still on four legs and slightly less modly than the rest..."
  44. [2014-04-11 16:51:59] * Thomas_OMalley is up on the roof, in the process of framing the Greenhouse.
  45. [2014-04-11 16:52:42] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The frame work rises quickly for it, the scafolding apparently having been placed up here for the green house long long ago, all that is left is the simple but time consuming task of placing the green plates in place.

[2014-04-11 16:54:19] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the older fishing pony silences the younger as he grins up at Midnight, "Oh he is the best miss, a right proper old pony who has traveled the length of the missipony more times than you can count. Gos by the name of Posh Bellows, fancies himself an exploror of sorts and can be found at the Golden Cider hall most nights"

  49. [2014-04-11 16:55:05] * Thomas_OMalley carefully sets each plate in place, careful to not damage the fragile glass panes.
  50. [2014-04-11 16:56:37] <Sunshine> "Thomas, Textbook is back." She looks around at the aged building. "What would you think about helping her with the restoration plans? It might be probably safer for your project too."

[2014-04-11 16:57:02] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Heartmend has managed to block out one of the larger rooms that would be able to house a nice sized medical room, imginary bits of equipment taking up room besides those she already had on hoof. With most of the debree and grime cleaned away it looks promising.
  52. [2014-04-11 16:57:48] * Midnight_Bliss gives the old pony a curious look but nods "Thank you for the info. Happy fishing" she gives the two a salute before turning and flapping her wings, taking off to search for this Golden Cider Hall
  53. [2014-04-11 16:57:56] * Thomas_OMalley glides down, gently setting down on the roof. "Well, de roof be in good shape. Haven't checked de walls for mold yet... gonna want a gas mask before dat be done. Same for de floors; the ground floor worry me de most, what wit de basement and all."
  54. [2014-04-11 16:58:33] * Flora_Bloom nods to Thomas lightly. "well I'm not exactly sure what to do when we find mold."
  55. [2014-04-11 17:00:31] * Thomas_OMalley shrugs. "Not much to do... if de mold be nasty and all over de house, den it best to find a new place. Heartmend ken tell you de e-ffects of it... all I know it be mal pris."
  56. [2014-04-11 17:01:20] * Flora_Bloom thinks for a moment and looks to the fungus in the pots, slowly thinking. "Isn't there possible there could be a spell or something to negate the ill effects?"
  57. [2014-04-11 17:01:43] <Sunshine> "I happen to have a gas mask." She floats it out of her saddlebags. "But we might need some extra ones. You see, the reason I'm calling you is so we make a shoplist and I can seek some reasonable prices."
  58. [2014-04-11 17:02:39] * Thomas_OMalley nods. "A spell dat cleaned and sanitized be doin' de trick." Thomas takes the gas mask, setting it in his saddle bags. "As for a shopping list... dis just for de house, or for goin' to get de ting on de map as well?"
  59. [2014-04-11 17:02:46] * Flora_Bloom looks to Sunshine. "What do you all need to purchase? I've gotten my shopping done."
  60. [2014-04-11 17:03:28] * GreatAndPowerfulGM midnight flys over the city looking for her target which she soon spots not but a few streets down from another roof top where she notes seeing her crew mates from the past few days working on a green house and talking. The golden Cider Hall is a nicer looking tavern with a glowing neon sign.
  61. [2014-04-11 17:04:14] * Sunshine glances at the gas mask and smiles to herself, then notices the others speaking again. "Oh, yes, it should be for everything, as long as we can afford it"
  62. [2014-04-11 17:04:44] * Flora_Bloom thinks for a moment and looks to her group. "Umm, just so you all know."
  63. [2014-04-11 17:05:23] <Flora_Bloom> "It's possible to evolve the mold so it doesn't need the harmful spores. It could even evolve rapidly so it might help strengthen the building's structure."
  64. [2014-04-11 17:05:39] * Midnight_Bliss looks down at her former ship mates working on a Greenhouse. A part of her feeling like she should stop and say Hi but the louder part of her mind told her to continue her mission. Still, she did not hide herself as she flew over them towards the Hall
  65. [2014-04-11 17:06:12] * Thomas_OMalley nods. "Well... de stuff for de ting on de map, it no be small piastre. We be needin' a boat and scuba gear... and should arm ourselves as well for any threats under de sea..." Thomas looks over at Flora. "Dat can be done? Cherie, you'd put me out of business! I like it!"
  66. [2014-04-11 17:07:05] * Flora_Bloom blushes lightly. "Well... It's possible with my spell. I can focus it so the mold would hyper age, growing and breeding new mold. But in such a short period of time, it would evolve to suit the surrondings
  67. [2014-04-11 17:07:56] * Heartmend sets up her thing as best as she can, but no where near as she would like. And at that goes upstairs to see how the rest are doing
  68. [2014-04-11 17:07:59] <Flora_Bloom> "So, mold that was previously trying to eat away at the building, will instead support it, and mold giving off poisoness spores, will cease to do so and maybe force new evolution."
  69. [2014-04-11 17:08:42] <Flora_Bloom> "It's even possible if I could work it out, that the mold might cross breed with this fungus I have." She lifts it up. "And become edible."
  70. [2014-04-11 17:09:05] * Thomas_OMalley blinks at the mold in the pot. "...Will it be tasty?"
  71. [2014-04-11 17:09:18] <Flora_Bloom> "Not at all."
  72. [2014-04-11 17:09:52] * Midnight_Bliss flies past the group and lands outside the Hall, looking up at the neon sign before trotting forward towards the entrance and inside
  73. [2014-04-11 17:10:50] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the Golden Cider Hall opens itself to Midnight, a door pony with a nice hat holding it open for her as the smell of fine drinks and good cooking flow out to meet her alongside the sounds of live intertainment, a violenist inside entertaining the small crowd with a pianist sitting in as well.
  74. [2014-04-11 17:11:22] * Sunshine blinks and covers her mouth. "I am not sure it is wise to let our house be taken over by edible fungus. Next thing we will have foals and evil enchantresses coming in.\"
  75. [2014-04-11 17:12:27] * Thomas_OMalley looks at the fungus for a moment longer before shaking his head. "Well den, let's hold off on dat for now. No sense having de house gettin' eat by a hungry bystander, yeah?"
  76. [2014-04-11 17:12:42] * Midnight_Bliss gives the door pony a nod as she enters. Cursing herself for not getting a description of Posh before leaving, so far only knowing he's an older pony. She knows he's a regular though so she looks for an employee to speak too
  77. [2014-04-11 17:13:01] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Heartmend finds the rest on the roof talkign near a almost completed greenhouse
  78. [2014-04-11 17:13:09] * Thomas_OMalley looks back to Sunshine. "Anyway, we be needin' a boat, scuba gear and some weapons for goin' underwater. Dey not be cheap though..."
  79. [2014-04-11 17:13:35] * Flora_Bloom smirks lightly. "Well that's only a theory, I'll work on experiments."
  80. [2014-04-11 17:14:21] * GreatAndPowerfulGM an older pony with a balding head and a busshy mustash sits behind the bar pooring drinks and schmoosing with guest while a waitress zipps around the room on her leathery bat wings as she takes orders and delivers her orders to tables.
  81. [2014-04-11 17:14:52] * Sunshine rubs his muzzle. "I shall see what can be done.="
  82. [2014-04-11 17:15:35] * Flora_Bloom thinks for a moment, looking about, trying to find a secondary fungus
  83. [2014-04-11 17:16:01] * Midnight_Bliss seeing the mare being the most busy, she decides on the barkeep, hopeing this one is more helpful than the angry griffin from before "Excuse me sir" she said as she trotted up to the counter "I'm looking for a pony named Posh"
  84. [2014-04-11 17:16:11] * Heartmend looks about the work the two have done " Well haven't we been busy hard at work. Now if some pony can help setup a working kitchen, with some food."
  85. [2014-04-11 17:17:04] * Thomas_OMalley looks back at Heartmend. "De pipes be bad?"
  86. [2014-04-11 17:18:03] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The bartender nods, "You mean Mr. Bellows, a fine customer if ever there was one. Unfortunately he has already come and gone for the night miss...?", he leaves the question hanging in the air.
  87. [2014-04-11 17:19:02] <Sunshine> \me leaves to some room she can have some privacy.
  88. [2014-04-11 17:19:20] * Sunshine changes her clothes
  89. [2014-04-11 17:19:23] <Midnight_Bliss> "Bliss, Midnight Bliss" she offered her name "Would you happen to know where he lives? It's urgent I get in contact with him"

  91. [2014-04-11 17:19:50] * Heartmend shrugs "It was more of an invitation to to go out and have dinner. As it is late and I think we could all go out and have a bite to eat."
  92. [2014-04-11 17:21:36] * Cap_Rat leaves the house in trader clothes. This was a large harbor city, so it should have goods floating that shouldn't be, and there is no better way to get a good price, as long as your eye is sharp and you are clever not to be fooled.
  93. [2014-04-11 17:21:57] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the bartender shakes his head, "Sorry missus I do not, not at least where he be hanging his hat these days. Im Cider Press by they way, pleasure to meet you. As for Mr. Bellows he used to live on his boat till he misplaced it, think he was leaving to find somepony about another as a matter of fact. Should be back here tommorow though if you cant find him"
  94. [2014-04-11 17:22:12] * Thomas_OMalley nods to Heartmend! "Ah! My mistake. Flora, you tink dis can wait for tomorrow?"
  95. [2014-04-11 17:22:27] * Flora_Bloom sighs a bit and looks around. "Umm... It has come to my attention i've been very focused on my studies. It would not hurt me to be social, who should I converse with?" She asks, looking to thomas. "The Greenhouse?"
  96. [2014-04-11 17:23:15] * Thomas_OMalley nods to Flora. "Aye. De building be set up, but not de machine. I can get de machine set up tonight, and we can run it in de morning."
  97. [2014-04-11 17:23:33] * Heartmend then turns to look over the city "This is a big place, and if we'er to live here. Then the least we sould do is taste some of the local fare."
  98. [2014-04-11 17:23:56] * Midnight_Bliss gives a small sigh of dissapointment but nods "Very well. When he comes in tomorrow can you tell him to remain until I arrive?"
  99. [2014-04-11 17:24:40] * Flora_Bloom lightly waves her hoof, holding the urge to work on her experiments back. "The Greenhouse is almost done. We can work on it tonight. It's better to be social." She says gritting her teeth, her natural curioucity eating away at her.
  100. [2014-04-11 17:25:24] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Cider Press nods, "Ill relay the messege miss, he usually comes in not long before this hour and stays at that table over in the corner. Ill see you tommorow night"
  101. [2014-04-11 17:26:09] * Thomas_OMalley smiles and nods. "Dat be de spirit! Oooh... I need a new suit... have to get dat later. Hrm... what you all feel like eatin' tonight?"
  102. [2014-04-11 17:27:00] * Flora_Bloom 's eyes gleam. "C-can... Can I put on my dress?"
  103. [2014-04-11 17:27:06] * Midnight_Bliss she nods "Thank you sir" she said, dropping ten caps for him on the counter for a tip before turning and leaving.
  104. [2014-04-11 17:27:58] * Heartmend looks back to the two "We can just trot around and find where ever our stomachs take us."
  105. [2014-04-11 17:28:36] * Thomas_OMalley nods. "Sure! I can always through on de jacket for de suit, dat still look fine..." Thomas looks over at Heartmend. "Ah, de grazing special? Dat be a good option. Been a few years since I been in de city, anyway."
  106. [2014-04-11 17:28:54] * Flora_Bloom shakes her head and moves to Heartmend. "No no no, we need to take the town! You need to get your dress on." She smiles brightly
  107. [2014-04-11 17:30:15] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the door pony smiles and opens the door for Midnight as she exits, "come again miss!", chirps the young colt.
  108. [2014-04-11 17:30:49] * Heartmend looks up to Flora_Bloom "But I don't have a dress. And It been such a long time....I could just go as I am. That has never been a problem for me."
  109. [2014-04-11 17:31:25] * Flora_Bloom shakes her head happily. "Then we'll find you a dress!"
  110. [2014-04-11 17:32:32] * Thomas_OMalley chuckles. "Well den, I guess we get dis cherie a dress, and den we get some food. Quickly, to de city!"
  111. [2014-04-11 17:32:54] * Midnight_Bliss nods to the door pony again as she leaves, now thinking to herself on fiding a place to stay for the night. Though could just camp in a tree or on a rooftop. Or she could hit up her shipmates"
  112. [2014-04-11 17:33:32] * Heartmend just lets herself go with the flow on this one "Ok if you can find one that looks good on me. Then we can all go and pant the town red."
  113. [2014-04-11 17:33:50] * Cap_Rat goes to the harbor, look for a boat and underwater gear, maybe with a blood stain discount.
  114. [2014-04-11 17:33:53] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Textbook wanders up the stairs looking about, "What about going out on the town?"
  115. [2014-04-11 17:34:03] * Flora_Bloom smiles and quickly changes
  116. [2014-04-11 17:35:30] * Thomas_OMalley pulls his suit jacket from his saddle bags, unfolding it. He smiles over at Textbook. "We be goin' out to get Heartmend a dress and den gettin' some food. How about you come along, cherie? De more de merrier."
  117. [2014-04-11 17:36:02] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Asking around and follwing any clue Cap can he soon finds a tavern named the "Bleeding Reef" near a collection of dry docks at the waterfront where he has been promised he can find all sorts of ponies willing to sell boats and other nautical gear.
  118. [2014-04-11 17:36:17] * Flora_Bloom starts on her way out, smiling and she even did her hair in a few flowers
  119. [2014-04-11 17:36:58] * Heartmend nods at that "Oh that would be fun, don't you say Textbook. An night on the town."
  120. [2014-04-11 17:37:20] * GreatAndPowerfulGM smiles, "Sure that sounds... wow!", troting over to Flora she grins as she looks at the dress, "That is gorgious on you, where did you find it?"

  122. [2014-04-11 17:37:53] <Flora_Bloom> "In the last town, in a nice little shop." She says happily
  123. [2014-04-11 17:38:04] * GreatAndPowerfulGM text book turns around, "And you say were going out to find more dresses like this for me and miss Heartmend?"
  124. [2014-04-11 17:38:29] * Thomas_OMalley vanishes into an empty room, changing out of his mechanic's overalls and into the suit. He even takes a moment to clean himself of any dust and grime. "Aye, dat be de trick!" Thomas shouts from where he is changing.
  125. [2014-04-11 17:38:42] * Midnight_Bliss with a sigh she takes flight, heading back for the rooftop where her companions had been working on the greenhouse and landing softly
  126. [2014-04-11 17:39:28] * Cap_Rat approaches the bar and trots in with a dirty face and a wicked grin.

  128. [2014-04-11 17:40:35] * Heartmend taps a hoof to her lips for a bit "Well I did look good in a vest and skirt."

[2014-04-11 17:40:49] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Cap blend in well as he pushes inside, a collection of self styled sea captains sit on a second floor balcony while a collection of more common salors and other seedier ponies and other beings mingle downstairs. Shouts to the kitchen and bartender call out over the lively atmosphere
  130. [2014-04-11 17:41:51] * Thomas_OMalley comes back out, cleaned up and wearing the suit jacket. "Midnight! Cherie, come wit us! We are gettin' de lay of de city, talkin' wit de locals and havin' some of de fine food."
  131. [2014-04-11 17:43:23] * Midnight_Bliss "Hello again. I just require a place to stay for the night. My leads have tapered off until tomorrow evening"
  132. [2014-04-11 17:44:45] * Thomas_OMalley smiles. "Well den, I tink rent might be some time socializin'. What you all tink, eh?"
  133. [2014-04-11 17:46:08] * GreatAndPowerfulGM textbook nods, "We can find her a nice outfit as well, right?"
  134. [2014-04-11 17:46:13] * Flora_Bloom smiles and nods. "Please do come with Midnight_Bliss. If your mission is dry for the night, why not enjoy the other part of yourself not needed for the mission."

  136. [2014-04-11 17:46:59] * Cap_Rat sits by the bar, looking at the bartender. "Get me some rum, will ya?" He takes a moment to take a good look around.

Later that night the party finds themself back home, Textbook troting up to her room dead beat.
