Race Existing

Race is a social construct, however that doesn't mean what the people who commonly say this think it means. All categories, classifications, and labels are social constructs. They are all constructed by society. What matters is if race describes a biological reality, which it does. One can argue it is arbitrary and that there can be a better classification scheme if one wants, but it doesn't make race not useful. Black kids are still born to black parents, whites and asians are still a different something, and people understand the term intuitively
