A quiet evening falls over Providence. Normally the city's keep doesn't see much activity. Today is an exception. A horned, winged silhouette mounts the parapets. A white haired rabbit kin, trussed with his arms behind him, is hauled along. His head is placed upon the walls in clear view, and the horned shadow lifts high a golden blade - Eunoe, the weapon of the previous Lord Regent Demetri Olym. The sword cleanly severs the wildkin's head from his shoulders.

The Duchess, Lady of Resolve, addresses the crowd with the bloodied weapon of her predecessor in hand.

"I'm sure we don't need introductions. Here they are anyway. I'm Dura Levante. I was born Dura Levante. I was Dura yesterday. Probably will be Dura tomorrow. Will probably die again as Dura too.

This man was a traitor. He betrayed his family and Providence on multiple counts. They're all a matter of public record. Look them up. I'm of a mind that anything or anyone - whether it be a noble, a lowborn, a mortal, or an Eidolon - should *answer* for their actions. Otherwise we fail to create any kind of justice in this world. Which brings me to the subject of another traitor.

Camilla Cassia. I don't care if she's calling herself DC, or Candle, or some new thing. It's Camilla Cassia. Traitor and defector from the High Court and complicit in the murder of the *other* High Court member by merit of death in her controlled territory.

Specifically Camilla Cassia and any of her co-conspirators are wanted for arrest, trial, and punishment. I also think it's prudent to mention that Providence isn't the only one she's betrayed.

If anyone from Alicante would like to come by and talk to me about the former Lady of Trouble's 'little list' she left before she decided to defect? Please. Come along. You will be safe so long as you abide by our laws and are here to speak to me. Hermes, Alithea, Hadris, pretty sure even Istaroth was on there...I forget all the names. I keep my word. Which is also why Providence will be continuing to assist Boundary. I assure you not because of *any* affection lost on its current administration.

The address from the Duchess ends. Her only official one thus far, and it's punctuated by her taking a new shiny metal flask from her person, pouring a small measure over the walls, and taking a swig before she turns away.

Though official missives aren't sent, no fliers are posted, rumors have always had a habit of spreading like wildfire on Sarea.
