- It's possible to softlock in Super Metroid without any sequence breaking or other shenanigans:
- If you miss Charge Beam, pick up a pretty good amount of ammo to kill Ridley, then get to Tourian with a lower Super Missile count. If you save just before Mother Brain, it's possible to not be able to kill her and beat the game, while being locked out of exploring for further items, or refilling your Supers.
