- [18:59] "And here we go.."
- Taking a breath, he shook his head as he knew he'd have to explain to Cordelia about this conflict later.
- The Aegeus stepped towards the center, moving with grace as he came to everyone's attention. "There is no need for violence, especially for any threats of death." he stated firmly.
- His gaze moved over the crowd before falling to Mitsuhide.
- "There's no need to drag this out any further, and quite frankly. Let's not start a war between the students of Starfall and Aspohdel."
- But his words would fall on deaf ears, the Black Air Force Energy was too strong.
- Taking a step on his heels, he'd look to Ambrose and Annete.
- A hand fell to the hilt of his blade as he prayed that they would find sense in all of this and just ignore the retainers words. But just incase if they didn't, he'd involve himself directly.
- "There's no need for senseless violence, especially over words. Please forgive him."
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:59] "I did tell you this is how it always goes, didn't I?.." A disappointed murmur is directed to Ambrose. With a quiet sigh, her attention returns to Mitsuhide and Son.
- Whatever is about to unfold is something Annete is wholly looking forward to now.
- Emerald greens peer at Eliphas. A languid blink occurs and in a very low tone are the words uttered.
- "He'll have to ask for forgiveness himself."
- As shots are already sent Mitsuhide's way, Annete herself steps aside - but not running away completely.
- Should any try to interfere, she'll stand up for what is going on, as well.
- (Annete Alricht)
- [18:59] "Are vampires really that sensitive? Do you know what's going to happen after this? With the prince attacking the students of Starfall on neutral grounds? For attacking a retainer?!"
- It all made little sense to him, why would pride go so far to bring unnecessary conflict. For them to come at each others throats like this?
- His grip tightened against the leather straps of his blade, as his appearance began to change.
- His eyes narrowed in as physical appearance transformed, he growled outloud as his canines grew sharper. His skin covered over with a coat of fur as flames danced around his form.
- "Is your kind really like this?" he questioned genuinely as he stepped towards them.
- Withdraw his blade, kicked off the ground towards Annete. Chasing them while being mindful of their magics from his encounters with Rosemarin. His blade blurred as he slashed away at her form, not caring for the tragedies that he would inflict as the Prince was already doing battle with the retainer.
- "Is this really the way of the vampires?!" his voice roared as the two battled about.
- Magicks attacked the field as the two carried on with their bout, only to finally come to close as Eliphas stepped closer into her guard and kicked her legs from underneath them.
- Standing tall, he spun before bringing his foot down heavy onto their leg. Fracturing into multiple places before stepping away.
- "You.. weren't even trying were you?" his breathing ragged as he looked to the watercan she was fighting with.
- "I.. Don't know what to make of that." he frowned as he looked towards the fight that the retainer and the prince were having.
- "I would offer a hand but.. I gotta make sure people aren't dead."
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:59] Annete hardly cares to answer the questions amidst the battle. So many misconceptions to correct, and yet...
- Amidst the ice and the freezing storms, Eliphas' blade, nevertheless, bests Annete's magic...
- though, she seems to have forgotten to bring an actual weapon this time around and was fighting with a can instead. How very... unfortunate...
- But even though the potent blood empowering her may have almost made up for that disadvantage, it was still not enough.
- With a yelp of pain and a wince, the full brunt of the kick is taken-... only for a little moment does she fall to her knees from the sheer pain of it. It would start healing much quicker, however.
- "I don't need your courtesy, anyway. Protect your foolish friends." For all that she may have cared for the Pelleaux themselves(and even that is under debate after Lucian captured her), Mitsuhide has had no such luck.
- And as such, she there is no invitation for him into her world.
- She remains still, for a little while, knowing just what exactly awaits Eliphas should he return to the others...
- The Prince does tend to be overprotective. But that only makes her smile.
- (Annete Alricht)
- [18:59] "Man I hope I'm not too late.."
- With fire empowering his movements, Eliphas jumped through the treeline as he hurried back towards the main scene of action. Fire danced through the air as it trailed behind from his feet.
- An aching feeling pounded away at his chest as he prayed that he wouldn't be too late. Ambrose was set on turning Mitsuhide into a bloody mess, and he'd do whatever he could to prevent it.
- He looked ahead, finally seeing the clearing before him as he drove his foot into the branch before kicking off towards the sky.
- Flinging himself through the air, he watched from above as Mitsuhide was defeated by Ambrose and was hopefully making their retreat. But there was a figure in the distance that caught his eye.
- Someone laying on the ground beside the one who protected the prince.
- "Fuck."
- He was late to prevent that tragedy from happening, but he was there to stop the teen from being dragged away.
- BOOM!
- Landing hard, Eliphas stood before the Rhoynish with his blade drawn.
- "Put him down." he frowned. "The last thing you want is a war."
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:59] Poised and collected.
- Ambrose was in control of the dark nature he wields - yet this does not mean he could not be cruel. The fate of Mitsuhide was a testament to such, granting him an experience of perhaps one of the worst days in his life so far.
- If not the worst.
- "Now run along, and wallow in your defeat."
- "Your friend's captivity? It's your fault."
- But the worst is that the Kitsune was connected to the Collective now- especially while he's this close, the voice could echo within, still, bombarding his mind with the incessant voices that were growing so ever louder.
- Louder,
- and louder.
- 'All your fault.'
- 'All your fault.'
- 'All your fault.'
- A haunting voice that would likely accompany Mitsuhide all the way home, until he's too far to be affected by the Collective and its maddening whispers. There, he finally turns..
- Searching.
- "Now..."
- "Where was the other one?"
- Eliphas could already feel it - the darkening presence.
- Even if he were to come out victorious, the night is just starting for him.
- (Ambrose Roche)
- [18:59] A glance was given to Blair, before sapphire hues fell to Aurora.
- Meeting her gaze, accompanied with a nod. He knew that the Alder could take care of the situation in their own way. Through words or if necessary, violence.
- "I'll trust you to that-"
- His words were cut as he felt a malicious presence behind him. Terror flooded their his whole being as his hands began to shake from the aura that surrounded him. It was nothing but darkness, something immoral that swallowed him whole.
- Gritting his teeth, he knew that the source could only be one thing.
- The Prince.
- The Aegeus spun on his heels as he gripped the hilt of his blade tighter, his knuckles whitened as he stared at the atrocity that stood before him. His breathes quickened as he felt their mere existence suffocating him.
- "I'm.. I'm right here." his words shook as he bit down harder.
- His beastkin instincts screamed at him to run, to flee and never look back. Every nerve was ushering him to head in the opposite direction but he stayed. Unwavering at the threat that now stood before him.
- But despite his fear that plagued him, he felt a weird sense of calmness. As if he was made for these fights, to battle against the odds and save those who he held dear. Instead of panicking and acting out, he was able to see clearly. Focus in on who his opponent was and how he should play it out.
- "I'll say this to you Ambrose. If you continue on this path, it'll bring you nothing but your own destruction."
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:59] The Prince was more than determined.
- But the warning of his own destruction? It is met with a smile - one that he couldn't help but even scoff at.
- "We all walk towards our own destruction, Eliphas."
- "The only difference is how quick we are about it."
- There, the shadow amalgamation already prepares to defend its owner- as zealous as always in its pursuit to ensure that he would survive. After all..
- It cannot exist without him.
- "Why not do something fun or worthwhile along the road?"
- A dark arrow is trained upon him. Soon, he might be able to join the Collective as well.
- Just like Mitsuhide.
- (Ambrose Roche)
- [18:59] The two of them were far more different.
- Already a master Occultist at such a young age, his head merely tilted at the attempts to Eliphas to engage against the Prince; while the sword cuts and the flames burn away at him, in the end...
- It seems almost a futile effort.
- "Why are you fighting this?"
- "Mitsuhide decided to start this conflict. His friend decided to join the folly of his own failure."
- Could he hear the voices too? The reaching of the Collective, looking to grasp upon him, all eager as ever.
- "There's still time to walk away."
- "Take it, before it's too late."
- (Ambrose Roche)
- [18:59] Travelling about as the southern fields of Osrona began to lit up in engagements, Sibyl found herself watching a combat between two. One of Eliphas, the other Ambrose. Approaching, she stood there watching, to see that there was no match, there seemed no hope for the swordsman after seeing in the initial clash.
- She'd step forward into the fields of combat and would raise her voice slightly to catch the attention of Eliphas.
- "He's offering you a chance to stand down. Do so, you are no match. No need to risk an injury over this."
- (Sibyl Cirque)
- [18:59] The contrast between the two was far too great.
- The power that the prince held against him was as if there was larger than the chasms within Shadowmire. Even he could attest to that.
- His attempts were futile, yet he believed that he was fighting for a just cause. That's why he stepped up, and it's exactly why he was fighting against them.
- "Yes, Mitsuhide was wrong. But you can't just do whatever you want and get away with it.."
- His breathes labored as he fell to one knee. His blade dogged into the very ground beside him as he gripped it's hilt for support.
- Turning, he'd see Sibyl approach him at his side.
- "He is.. but.." his words faltered.
- Eliphas was fighting a losing battle, he barely managed to injure them yet he still stood against them. He held pride to his name, but would that blind pride be the cause for his down fall.
- "Sibyl.." his words rang coarse as he struggled to stand.
- His gaze flickered between the two, as he debated about his options. To endure an uphill battle while even gravity held him back, or to drop the encounter and risk no injury to himself to fight another day.
- His body shook as he continued to think of the choices that was given to him, but ultimately?
- He gave in.
- Tears stung his eyes as he rested his head against the pommel of his blade.
- "Alright..."
- "I'll walk away..."
- His words echoed with pain as he swallowed his pride. Moving to stand tall, he turned to Sibyl with his head hanging low. He was ashamed of himself, for his weakness and everything that came with it.
- Silently, he'd thank the prince for giving him such an option. But regret filled his soul as he moved off to follow Sibyl away.
- (Eliphas Aegeus)
- [18:59] Eliphas Aegeus whispers to Sibyl Cirque: I.. hate myself...
- [18:59] Sibyl Cirque whispers to Eliphas Aegeus: No..
- [18:59] Sibyl Cirque whispers to Eliphas Aegeus: You did the right thing.
- [18:59] Eliphas Aegeus whispers to Sibyl Cirque: My parents would be ashamed of me...
- [18:59] Eliphas Aegeus whispers to Sibyl Cirque: I... I need to.. I don't know...
- [18:59] Sibyl Cirque whispers to Eliphas Aegeus: Your parents would be ashamed of you not wanting to hurt yourself against a wall you cannot crack?
- [18:59] Sibyl Cirque whispers to Eliphas Aegeus: If you had a chance.. That is something else.
