  1. — THE GREAT TRIAL acquires the newly formed Vigil their first three constituents; the Zavetii first, consisting mostly of nomads and rebels; the Valatul second, consisting primarily of rebellious and exiled elites; and the Kailoxit, who surrender in totality at the end of the war. It is at this time that the Lyxaris discover Askhar Vox, and the Red Void. The Vigil makes contact with the ZYOL, who becomes their first powerful ally.
  2. — Ten years later, the YKTAZ display sapient tendencies, and become a partial constituent, although a massive population still exists outside of the Vigil.
  3. — Thirty years later, the ZULKOI government willingly and proactively merges with the Vigil after a series of diplomatic talks.
  4. — Fifty years later, VOKAT begin to move on the galaxy.
  5. — Five years later, the HYVENKH’s planet begins to collapse under the strain of whatever strange charged being rests beneath its surface. The Vigil steps in to assist, setting up ‘rods’ along the planet that absorb the psionic energy and project it elsewhere, into the void. That same year, the VOKAT begin to encroach on the Hyvenkh’s homeworld, but the Vigil steps in. The Vokat assault nonetheless destroys the planet’s atmosphere for a time, and the Vigil relocate the Hyvenkh offworld and begin to integrate them; Hyvenkh are reintroduced to their homeworld a decade or so later.
  6. — Two years later, the Vigil discovers the IYALU; their loyalty is earned after a thorough exploration of the strange systems left on their planet, and through the defense of their planet from the encroaching VOKAT.
  7. — In the same year, the QAYZIV are nearly driven to extinction by predation from Vultures, especially the encroaching VOKAT. Although they once held a fearsome reputation as demons of the sea, the Vokat’s repeated victories against them lent them a vulnerability that sparked rage from others who had long bowed to them. The Vigil takes in the last of the isolationist QAYZIV, and vows to defend those who remain outside of their control.
  8. — The next year, the BAUTAZA are besieged by the Vokat. They hold out well for now, with the Tylaki at their side.
  9. — That year, the FEOZAIT are crushed by the Vokat, who are too far away for aid. The new Feozait begin to rise.
  10. — Half of a year later, the SPELL is cast by the Narkha, who are killed in the process, transforming into the Pykhoza. The galaxy revolts against the VOKAT, and the Vigil begins to actively war against the Vokat.
  11. — In retaliation, and in an attempt to again establish their dominance and might, the Vokat brutally annihilate the Bautaza in a series of conflicts over the course of the next 6 months. The Bautaza are reduced to near extinction, aided by the also-recovering Tylaki and the Vigil. At this time, both the Bautaza and Tylaki begin to officially identify as ‘bonded allies’ to the Vigil.
  12. — That year, the FEOZAIT ally with the Vigil as they attempt to war against the Vokat.
  13. — That year, the ASTYRI ALLIANCE forms from hundreds of differing “Vultures”.
  14. — The Astyri Alliance rejects the Vokat from their territory. A stalwart barrier forms between them as they both attempt to breach and attack the other, but a stalemate soon becomes clear. The Vigil goes suspiciously quiet during this part of the war.
  15. — The Vigil assaults and destroys several bases inside Vokat territory, and cuts off communications to the front line. The front line begins to break apart and return to the homeworlds to try and defend them from Vigil attack, leaving the forward bases and positions of the Vokat more vulnerable to the steady Astyri.
  16. — The Astyri Alliance launches an all-out assault; crushed between the Vigil in their backlines and the Astyri at their frontlines, the Vokat fleet crumbles.
  17. — The Vokat begin to retreat and centralize, but the Vigil’s interference prevents this. The Vigil begins to extricate billions of Vokatian citizens in anticipation of a forthcoming genocide. The genocide occurs, wiping the remaining Vokat out of their previous territory.
  18. — The extempore alliance of the Astyri falls apart within a year after the end of the war.
  19. — The VOKAT are officially a constituent; there is a long process of integration, and a lot of difficulty, but the understanding that only civilians were spared destruction leads to easier bonding.
  20. — Eighty years later, the FELTAKA WAR begins. It is relatively standard, although the Vigil struggles with the strong numbers and technology wielded by the Feltaka. The war lasts almost eight years, and ultimately ends with the Great Cloak, an act of defiance on the part of the Feltakan monarchs. Many Feltakan worlds are completely obliterated, leaving only their homeworld, whose ‘cloaking’ was interrupted by its strange denizen.
  21. — Forty years later, the Q’LAR WAR begins. A terrorist cell of hardline traditionalist Povoki begin taking over Povokian stations in deep space. The Vigil steps in and aids in the corralling of these rogue agents, gaining the Povoki as an ally.
  22. — Ten years later, the IKHENTI ally with the Vigil proactively.
  23. — Twenty years later, the OZAVUL WAR begins. The Ozavul Dominion initiates the war, but is quickly driven back by brutal and aggressive Vigil counterattacks. After an initial misstep, the war begins to pick up for the Ozavul, and repeatedly cools off and heats up, until the Vigil finally assaults key Dominion state structures and asserts control over their government. The Erzilai become constituents in the process.
  24. — Five years later, the Sixth rises, and the Reprisal begins. It is ongoing.
