+Michael Chranston __ Howdy. As a policy I don't visit external/unfamiliar websites. Does the picture allegedly taken with a smart phone show discernible details of the "ISS"? Without actual discernible details the picture is meaningless and no different to hundreds of other "blobs of light" photos taken.


With that mentioned let me add this: no reasonable person denies or disputes that there is a bright light in the sky that is consistently referred to as the "ISS". That's not the issue. *The issue is whether or not the "ISS" is manned with little men and women*.


When it comes to live-streamed internal "ISS" footage from "NASA" (i.e., footage that would *necessarily prove the claim* that the "ISS" is presently manned) *it is filled with glitches, cuts, edits and pans*. _That's the issue_.


(And is what distinguishes Lesta from everyone else who is questioning the "ISS".)

+Michael Chranston __ Here are two thoughts: 1) Imagine you are a parent, sibling or child of an "astronaut" who is spending time aboard the "ISS". Would you not be interested in taking a photo (i.e., one that shows discernible details) of that bright light housing your mother, father, brother, sister or child as it whizzes past overhead? I wonder - is there such a photo gallery where family members of "astronauts" post pictures they have taken of the "ISS" (showing discernible details) or is such photography reserved for "amateur astronomers" who have no familial relation to "astronauts"?


2) Anyone can go to the YouTube channels of "NASA" or "ESA" and watch a recording of a "live broadcast" purportedly of an "astronaut" fielding questions from various people (typically children or television presenters). Have you ever seen such an "interview" conducted where the astronaut's responses *couldn't* have been pre-recorded? And have you ever seen such a "live broadcast" which didn't contain video glitches, cuts, edits or (camera) pans? (I.e., "potential editing points".)


With this reply I am pointing out that when you see a photo of the "ISS" that purportedly shows discernible details *you are having to trust that the photographer isn't up to shenanigans*. There are plenty of fake "ISS" photographs and it is not uncommon for people to take someone else's alleged image (e.g., one of those fakes) and then palm it off as their own. It is not for me to speculate as to why people would do this - _but they do_. (And so if there is a real "ISS" with discernible details then how can you be certain the photograph you are looking at is genuine and not a fake?)


Secondly - with the alleged interviews (which could "prove" there really are people who are living in a permanent micro/zero-gravity environment) - you are again having to trust that there are no shenanigans. If you would not accept *scripted and glitch-filled interviews* from a stage magician (such as "Derren Brown" or "David Blaine") then the only reason you accept it from "NASA" is because you trust that there are no shenanigans. And maybe it is all genuine - _however_ - *the "ISS" is presented to us in such a way that should it ever be desired or required to fake something else (such as a "Mars mission") then it could be done and it will be accepted without question* [by "normal people"] *because of the way the "ISS" is routinely presented*.
