Background- I set up my submissions with a 3-days grace period in case of outages since there was a big storm and’d mostly finished a painting I didn't need to submit for a while. I thought it'd be more fun for people to see me post something rather than nothing till my due date or a screenshot of the thing they’d see finished in a handful of hours, so tossed in an old 4chan sketch to fill up the site content while I worked. This was in the first few days you were creating the site, so not sure that the rules had been added yet, just mostly the submit button and the images, and I’m afraid I'm new to las so had no idea about the post restrictions. Everything else I've painted or sketched from one day to the next, marathoning for the banana badge or trying fun little things out in between. Please go ahead and take down the 4chan doodle if you’d like. I’m an idiot. Seriously sorry about that.

The next thing is "They're posting other people's work and using photo manipulation or taking pictures and pasting them into their work or something"
I'm still not really sure what to say about this. I’m painting them, I actually tried replying though painting and showed my steps to the side. I really don't know how else to respond. I've been doing studies in various forms of online paintchat since I first got a computer, and most of them were speed-oriented or competitive. I couldn't really say 'I'm painting them' in the topic, so I don't know. (I didn't really know it was that unusual. All the people I painted with worked with realism.)
[9:04 PM] Anonymous: Trying to think how to explain- I saved a screenshot every few minutes when I painted the simple apple I just finished in case I need to do that now, so could send those over, if you do want them. Though actually the one they posted in the topic shows the process just as well. Sure and no problem. Sorry for not being in the discord, just registered the once to chat. I flipped though the topic tonight and saw your ask. (I’ll delete the account to which I uploaded them after you’ve finished, since it’s a trial version of a paid service.) I’d like to request that the files aren’t released in 4chan, please. I know you’re personable, but it’d feel a bit like a violation if given to the topic, I think, since they just want lively stories, really.

Afraid it’s a bit odd, but I don’t really know about streaks, (not really here for the counter or a streak competition with users) so only really contacted you because the idea that my entries were making people confused or unhappy was exactly contrary to what I’d meant them for.)

The cat was just a doodle in photoshop saved as a png, and the mini paintings were actually done on iscribble, a paintchat site, so are just screenshots. I think I actually have the animations of some of the things that I thought I might do a little more with in my private boards, so if you get an iscribble.net account, I can give you access to those. I’ve still got.. the car and the hood guy. The acorn I did in iscribble, screenshotted, touched up with photoshop, then saved as a png, which I occasionally do if I’m saving something. Please just let me know if you’d like to do it that way, I’d need your username to give you access to the boards, and you’d find them in your own ‘Private’ folder. (I’d actually like to keep my paint chat account separated from 4chan if that’s alright, so please don’t mention my account there, I’m a a bit of a private person.)

I haven’t painted as much as usual since joining d.a.d., so should probably go. Will start prepping for my 3d classes, actually. I'll still be rooting for you guys.
