Backstage we see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin bust into what was once Vince McMahon's office, now occupied by HHH.
"What the fuck was that just now, Hunter?"
"Well, I believe that was a successful defense of the World Tag Team Championship by The Power Trip."
"A successful, *unscheduled* title defense! Trips, why don't you remind me who's in power here?"
"I don't know where you're going with t..."
"THAT'S RIGHT! The goddamn Power Trip. And do you know [i]why[/i] we're in power?"
"I know..."
"THAT'S RIGHT! These shiny gimmicks around our goddamn waists. So now I'm going to ask: why the FUCK did you let Brian and Joanna put that on the line in an OPEN challenge?"
HHH responds coyly "Well, you see... Joanna does this thing..."
"THINK WITH THE GODDAMN HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDERS HUNTER! That's Joanna's THIRD goddamn match tonight."
"And she won. Easily. She can, and has, gone all night. So relax, The Power Trip isn't going to fall to Taylor and Godfather."
"It was an OPEN CHALLENGE! We got lucky. What if the Harts beat them out the gate?"
"Probably wasn't going to happen since Bret's smart enough to not invite an ass-kicking right before a World Title match and Owen is still busy picking his teeth off the ground after Shawn's superkick. Relax, shit was in control. If shit looked like it was going to get out of control, you can bet I'd have been out there making damn sure it was going to get back in control. Now you have a title match, so I think it's time you stop worrying about our "gimmicks" and start worrying about yours."
"Fine. Just remember. This is the goddamn Power Trip, not the Ego Trip, and if we lose control of this company because you three couldn't keep your heads in the game, I'll find somebody who can."

Austin storms out, not noticing HHH's parting eye roll.
